Innovation Day Organized by the Company
From June 3 to June 6, “FREP Innovation Day” was held in the Integrated Exhibition Hall, to which staff from the front line, auxiliary system and function management departments in the Company have been invited for learning from “golden ideas” in the innovation activities. In addition, “FREP Innovation Day” was also on display in the office building in our Quanzhou Headquarters on June 7, for purpose of enhancing interaction between management personnel and staff from grassroots units, and their perception and recommendations on Innovation Day were collected through multiple channels in order to provide grounds for improvement of “innovative ideas”, thus enhancing efficiency and creating value for the Company.
During the display, members of Office of President Lu Dong, Abdullah H. Al Sebail and Brian Ablett visited the “golden ideas” innovation activities with great enthusiasm, and they thought highly of such innovation activities.
Staff in the Company actively participated in activities on the Innovation Day, and totally over 700 innovation ideas have been submitted, covering production and operation, safety and environmental protection, management and innovation, etc. Among them, 30 “innovative ideas” have passed the assessment and been enlisted for display on boards. During the display, staff of the Company voted to select several best “golden ideas”, and relevant “innovative ideas” having passed the assessment have been decided to put into implemented for further improvement in management level in the Company and for helping to promoting benefits of the Company.
In this Innovation Day, the display covers 5 KFAs in the Company, with totally 30 “golden ideas”, including Adaptive Revamp of Lighter Ethylene Feedstock to be Implemented in production optimization, Establish Quality Planning Mechanism to Improve Quality Benefits in improvement of gross profits, Establishment of Heating Furnace Management Method Based on Fuel Quality and Revamp and Upgrading of Equipment in reliability and Increase Utilization Rate of Simulation System to Improve Operating Level of Operators in personnel training, all of which aroused great interest of visits.
Staff from the Innovation Day team told the correspondent that this is the first time “FREP Innovation Day” has been held in the Company. During the Innovation Day, staffs were invited to learn from “golden ideas” and exchange with designers of such “golden ideas” for timely feedback of the perception, which not only will provide recommendations on the Innovation Day for innovation and improvement of such “golden ideas”, but also will deepen their understanding of the Innovation Day. Prospective thinking from the staff to propose breakthrough solutions is encouraged in order to deal with challenges in sustainable development of the Company.
