The Company Initiated the Theme Action of "Bearing in Mind the Entrustment, Making New Achievements and Creating Better Performance to Prepare for the 20^th National Congress of the CPC"

In the morning of March 11, FPCL held the kick-off meeting of the action themed "Bearing in Mind the Entrustment, Making New Achievements and Creating Better Performance to Prepare for the 20^th National Congress of the CPC" by means of teleconference.

Liu Xiangdong, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of FPCL, delivered a speech. Zhao Tianxing, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of FPCL, chaired the kick-off meeting. Yang Fei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and chairman of the Labor Union of the company, interpreted the implementation plan of the company's theme action of "Bearing in Mind the Entrustment, Making New Achievements and Creating Better Performance to Prepare for the 20^th National Congress of the CPC ".

Management of FPCL, including Zhang Xiguo, Chen Feishan, Lin Xu and Lai Shuiming, middle-level cadres and secretaries of general Party branches and Party branches at the primary level also attended the kick-off meeting.

Liu Xiangdong put forward three requirements in his speech. First, improve political awareness and deeply understand the great significance of the theme action. All units and departments shall deeply understand that carrying out the theme action is important for completing the company's annual targets and tasks, and take the theme action as a major political task, to work hard on it and ensure effectiveness.

Second, focus on key work and coordinate all work of the whole year of the company comprehensively on the basis of the theme action. All units and departments shall deeply learn and understand the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions during his inspection in Shengli Oilfield, make targeted efforts in accordance with the arrangement and deployment of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Sinopec Group and the list of key tasks in implementation plan of the company's theme action, strengthen mutual promotion of the theme action and the core work, so as to ensure comprehensive promotion and efficient advancement of the theme action. Seek breakthroughs in continuously improving quality and profitability; work hard on HSE management; improve progress and efficiency in project development; take concrete actions to strengthen management and prevent risks; achieve practical effects in strengthening the guidance of Party building.

Third, organize the implementation of work to ensure that the theme action are carried out in depth and achieve concrete effects. Carrying out the theme action is a systematic project, which runs through the whole year, with multiple aspects, high workload and high requirements. We must unify our mindset, improve awareness, fulfill responsibilities, and establish an assurance mechanism to ensure orderly and efficient operation and achieve concrete effects. It was expected to improve the working mechanism, strictly implement and fulfill responsibilities and strengthen sense of commitment.

Zhao Tianxing required that all should earnestly improve ideological understanding. Further enhance the overall awareness, whole picture concept and systematic thinking, consciously take the overall situation of the company into account when advancing the theme action, divide work and cooperate closely, coordinate and take united actions to improve the overall performance of the company. To promote implementation of the theme action up to high quality, the company established a theme action leadership team, a leadership team office and 8 working groups. According to Sinopec Group's theme action plan and in combination with the company's key work, formulated the company's implementation plan of the theme action and set 45 key tasks. (Xuan Wen)
