The Company Initiated Preparations for 2024 TA/Revamp


In the afternoon of May 10, the Company held 2024 TA/Revamp Kick-off Meeting in the Science& Technology Hall for arrangement and deployment of related works.

The Company management Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Zhao Tianxing, Lin Xu and Neo Ee Ee attended the meeting.

Saleh Yahya Al Zaid commented that only good preparations could ensure a successful completion of the targets of 2024 TA/ Revamp. Considering the outstanding performance of the Company in 2018 TA/ Revamp and 2021 TA/ Revamp, we shall learn good experience and practices and summarize the gaps, thus to improve the TA/ Revamp Plan. For talents preparation for 2024 TA/ Revamp, all units were expected to make plans in advance to train and engage youth employees in TA/ Revamp works. He hoped that all to go all out and cooperate with each other, to strive for successful completion of TA/ Revamp targets.

Zhao Tianxing put forward four requirements for the TA/ Revamp work. First, take innovative methods and carry forward good practices on the basis of summarizing previous TA/ Revamp experience; second, set clear targets to better guide maintenance scheme preparation; third, make good plans with detailed key milestones and clear targets; fourth, strengthen training and cultivate youth employees, make this TA/ Revamp as a good opportunity, to improve talents team construction.

Lin Xu commented that capital projects, as an important part of TA/ Revamp, shall quickly start engineering design on the basis of determining capital projects as per the schedule, and ensure smooth advancement with good follow-up and implementation. He also put forward opinions on the organizational structure, work division and plan preparation of TA/ Revamp.

Neo Ee Ee emphasized that TA/ Revamp preparations shall be planned, organized and implemented early, set the work scope as per the principle of "what to be done, what can be done, and what enjoy priority", and consider the probable problems, thus to to better guide TA/ Revamp preparations.

Yang Pengfei, general manager of Mechanical Department, introduced the benchmarking and cost control targets; Fu Junsong, deputy general manager of Mechanical Department, introduced the challenges of the TA/ Revamp.

Management personnel of related departments and business teams, as well as related personnel of the Company attended the meeting. (Zhang Lei)
