At 10:00 a.m. on October 16, the 20^th CPC National Congress opened in the Great Hall of the People. General secretary Xi Jinping made a report to the Congress on behalf of the 19^th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

FPCL and all affiliated joint ventures organized cadres and employees to watch the opening conference in a centralized way in Quanzhou Fulian Building, FREP, Linde-FPCL Gas Company, Zhangzhou Gulei Petrochemical Company, Fuhua Gas Company and Fujian Crude Oil Commercial Storage Branch.

Party organizations at all levels and employees of the Company listened to or watched the opening conference of the 20^th CPC National Congress, understood the contents of the Congress the first time, and listened to the report of the 20^th CPC National Congress with excitement.

Cadres and employees of the Company said that the report of the 20^th CPC National Congress mapped out a glorious vision for the new development of the cause of the Party and the country, and started a new journey to build a modern socialist power in an all-round way. The report was farsighted, inspiring and encouraging.

Cadres and employees working for the Party in petrochemical industry shall deeply learn, understand and implement the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress, proactively integrate into the industrial pattern of "one base, two wings and three new growth poles" of Sinopec, undertake and fulfill the "three core responsibilities" of Sinopec, keep in mind the instructions, keep high morale, work hard to make new contributions and ensure completion of the annual production and operation targets.

Focus on the important task of "eight first-class" of the Company in the next five years, fully promote the coordinated development of the two refining & petrochemical integrated industrial bases in Quanzhou Quangang and Zhangzhou Gulei, and make concerted efforts to build a leading refining and petrochemical integrated company in China.
