Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Fujian Province announced the fifth batch of provincial green manufacturer list. FREP was awarded the honor title of "Green Plant" of provincial level by virtue of outstanding performance and achievements in the field of green development.

As a production unit of manufacturing industry, the "Green Plant" is the principal body of green manufacturing and the core support unit of the green manufacturing system, and it has the characteristics like intensive factory buildings, harmless raw materials, cleaner production, waste recycling and low-carbon energy.

FREP has always been committed to the coordinated development of health, safety and environment, minimizing the impact of production activities on the environment, and continuously improving its performance in each field. FREP adopted advanced automation technology to realize integrated management and control of the digital plant, ensured stable and optimal production and operation of each unit, and used scientific management and accurate control of the production process to produce high-quality petrochemical products, and provided clean energy for social and economic development.

The Company paid close attention to the construction and implementation of the management systems, established the Operation Integrity Management System (OIMS), and promoted/ obtained the third-Party certification of the environmental management system, quality management system, energy management system and measurement management system. The energy efficiency indicators of Polypropylene Unit and Aromatics Complex of the Company ranked in the leading group in the industry, and were selected by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Fujian Province as the provincial “energy efficiency leading enterprise”. After the energy-saving projects such as the Aromatics Complex Low-temperature Heat Recovery Project and the Deaerated Water Supply System Low-temperature Heat Recovery Project were put into operation, the energy consumption of the units was further reduced. In addition, cooperated with CHN Energy (Quanzhou) Thermal Power Co., Ltd., the Company completed the Photovoltaic Project (Phase I) in the Open-air Polyolefin Storage Yard and put it into operation, which continuously injected "green power" into units’ production as low-carbon energy.

In the context of achieving the "double carbon" goal, FREP would proactively respond to the national call, comply with the policy and implement the deployment, continuously carry out carbon reduction actions, proactively explore the path of "double carbon" development, and contribute to building a beautiful China.
