On the morning of August 27, the company held the unveiling ceremony of "Practical Training Base of Employee Production Skills". Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of the company Party Committee, Secretary of the company Discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of the company Labor Union, and Zhao Tianxing, Vice President of the company, attended the ceremony and unveiled the Base. The ceremony was hosted by Lin Bin, General Manager of Process Department (Refining).
Yang Hongbin congratulated the unveiling of the Base. He recalled that he came to the site three times and said with emotion that every time he came to the Base, he saw great progress made on site. In a short period of time, the unit defeated for a long time was rejuvenated and became a vigorous and energetic training base, which was inseparable from the good cooperation and joint efforts of all departments and business teams, and the hard work was deeply appreciated.
In terms of training in the Base, Yang Hongbin commented: first, we should pay attention to safety. Safety was the top priority in petrochemical enterprises. Training should not only be safe, but also incorporate safety in the process of training, so as to internalize safety in mind and externalize in action; second, training should be both spiritual and physical. The Base had been set up, and with the "physical conditions", next we should give it "spirit". This required the trainers to make full efforts in curriculum arrangement and courseware development, continuously improve the training effect in both spirit and form, and make the Base have more vitality; third, we should open up and integrate. The company had established 4 innovation studios and 3 training bases, covering production, equipment, technical, safety and other aspects. We should give full play to the role of each platform, cooperate with each other, complement each other, form a joint force, and integrate into one, so as to realize opening-up, sharing and win-win cooperation.
Yang Hongbin also encouraged everyone to strengthen their faith, continuously work hard, win victories one after another, and wished the Base to achieve better results.
Zhao Tianxing affirmed the spirit of cooperation, unity, confidence and trying best to overcome difficulties of all departments in the process of Base construction. He put forward three requirements: first, we should give full play to the functions of the Base and make it an important part of the company's training system to cultivate high-quality talents for the company; second, we should make a good training plan, relying on experienced master resources, make the training close to practical production, do a good job of teaching, helping and coaching, and help new employees adapt to the post requirements as soon as possible; third, we should continuously innovate and give full play to the roleof the Base as a platform, organize employees to carry out activities such as tackling difficult issues, process innovation, labor competition, technical exchange and experience sharing, so as to create a competitive learning atmosphere among employees.
At the meeting, Wu Liangjiang reported the preparations and work arrangement of the Base, and four training groups including heating furnace, compressor, pump and comprehensive equipment introduced following training plans.
Yang Hongbin, Zhao Tianxing and members of the training Base planted two Osmanthus fragrans in the Base. One asasymbol of the company, and the other as the employees. Ten years may it take to grow a tree, while a hundred years is required to nurture talents. With shared air and future, the two trees will grow, bloom and thrive in evergreen life.

Management personnel of Process Department, Mechanical Department, HSE Department, Party & Union Department, HR & Admin Department, all business teams and other relevant personnel attended the unveiling ceremony.
It was reported that the training base will focus on seven aspects in next step, i.e., training for college students, college student skill competition, operator skill grade appraisal, operator job certification test, operator skill improvement, labor competition, and elaboration on internal structures of large equipment.(Zhang Lei)
