On October 16, Li Xiang, Deputy Director of Petrochemical Division of Industry Department of National Development and Reform Commission, accompanied by Zhou Yuanxun, class II inspector of Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission, visited FREP to carry out a research on the construction of petrochemical base. President Joost Emmen, Vice President Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Vice President Lin Xu of the company welcomed the guests. The two sides had in-depth discussions and exchanges on specific topics such as company development.

The research group visited the exhibition hall of the company and listened to the introduction of Vice President Lin Xu on the general situation, master plan, construction and operation of the company.

After listening to relevant introduction, Li Xiang fully affirmed the efforts made by FREP in expanding ethylene project and extending the industrial chain. He hoped that FREP could make use of its advantages, learn advanced technologies from the shareholders, strengthen technological innovation, and realize clean and high-quality development of the company.

President Joost Emmen extended warm welcome and thanks to Li Xiang and his delegation for their research in FREP. He said that the company will continuously improve and promote the implementation of the project, expand the company scale, improve quality, constantly enhance market competitiveness of the products, and achieve high-quality development in the new era.
