The Company Held the Profit Promotion Meeting of 3Q
In order to implement the company's annual work deployment and promote the smooth development of key tasks for better quality and higher profit, the company held the profit promotion meeting of the third quarter in Quangang on the afternoon of September 29. President Joost Emmen attended the meeting, and Vice President Lin Xu chaired the meeting.
The meeting required that the whole organization should keep the mindset of “tight the belt for long term”, and deployed the work of improving quality and profitability of the third quarter.
First, Business Teams should cut the number of planned days, strive to remove long-term and short-term constraints, and set higher targets; for production aspect, pay attention to the days of start-up and shutdown of the turnaround, thus to reduce the planned capacity loss in next year. Second, continue to reduce crude oil purchase cost and the cost of “chemicals, catalysts and additives”, strengthen market research and analysis, and quickly adjust the production and purchase plan to maximize profit of the company. Third, carry out monthly "look back" of production plan, review the deviation between the price set and the actual ones, think out of the box against product constraints, and explore margin improvement opportunities from small projects. Fourth, strengthen cross functional cooperation, strictly implement the optimized PI improvement plan, focus on improving organizational efficiency and personnel capacity development, strengthen human resources management, and further improve workforce quality. Fifth, actively develop market and pay close attention to product sales. Sixth, develop the cost efficiency list of next year, continue to carry out cost reduction actions in the fourth quarter and the next year, and promote the implementation and effectiveness of cost reduction measures. Seven, continue the efforts on water saving to achieve remarkable results;
It was emphasized at the meeting that in the face of the severe challenges of current production and operation, all departments should communicate the pressure and stimulate motivation. All employees should take responsibility and fulfill duties, implement work arrangements in detail, identify profit opportunities from details, and find gaps from comparison.
At the meeting, the responsible people of Process Department, Mechanical Department and Finance Department reported the progress of the 9 tasks in the third quarter, including capacity utilization, energy consumption, cost of chemicals/ catalysts/ additives, equipment reliability and efficient maintenance, margin improvement, raw material supply, use and cut material inventory, cost efficiency, marketing and sales promotion, and PI improvement, analyzed the existing issues and gaps, and put forward improvement measures for the next step.
