Work Together to Make Dreams Come True—The Company held new hires assignment meeting of 2020
On September 14, the company held the new hires assignment meeting of 2020 in the Technology Hall in Quangang Office Building. Company management Joost Emmen, Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Yang Hongbin, Lin Xu and Zhao Tianxing attended the meeting. Management personnel of functional departments and business teams, as well as the 44 new hires attended the meeting.
Joost Emmen, President of the company, said: “I'm glad to see the presentations of the one-month induction training, which proves that you are outstanding. You come from different places in China, and I am from another country. We are destined to meet in FREP as family members. I hope you can be a part of this family as soon as possible.”
Joost Emmen put forward several suggestions to the new hires when they are about to take their jobs. First, pay attention to safety. Petrochemical enterprise’s production has the characteristics of high temperature, high pressure, inflammable and explosive, where more attention should by paid to safety. Safety is the guarantee of work and life. We should protect ourselves and others. Second, pay attention to quality. We should make joint efforts to provide high-quality products to the society. Third, focus on profitability. The company is now facing a severe situation, which requires our engagement, unity and cooperation. Overcome difficulties and ensure smooth completion of the established targets. Fourth, pay attention to talents. Development of the company depends on talents. The company has many standardized systems, operating procedures and advanced management practices/ concepts introduced from the shareholders, which should be implemented by everyone. At the same time, the company's new Master Plan provides employees with opportunities and platforms for growth, and you are at the right time. We are looking forward to work together with you to strive to be a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness.
Vice Presidents Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Lin Xu and Zhao Tianxing delivered speeches respectively. They said: “we are happy to have many new employees join us. You are fresh blood and new hope of the company. We sincerely hope that new employees can dedicate yourselves and get familiar with your work as soon as possible, make full use of your professional skills and knowledge, show your talents and give full play to your strengths.” They required: “first, good professional ethics. Cultivate good professional ethics and habits, firmly establish the concept of dedication, adhere to the combination of theory and practice, master and improve operation skills of the posts. Second, learn to work as a team, develop good relationship with colleagues, realize the importance of role change as soon as possible, and be a part of the collective. Third, work in a manner of down-to-earth. Be modest to learning, enhance the sense of responsibility, sense of crisis, and coordination ability, and rapidly improve capability.
The new employees reported and presented the results and experience of the one-month induction training in groups. They expressed that they were honored to join the family of FREP. They would keep in mind the contents of the induction training and apply them in work, change roles timely, strengthen professional beliefs, enhance sense of teamwork and responsibility, inherit and carry forward the good practices of the company, and contribute to future development of the company.
