From October 15 to October 16, Quanzhou pump maintenance fitter skills competition was held in the company, and 33 players of 11 representative teams from various enterprises in the city participated in the competition. Jiang Yongqing, Vice Chairman of Quanzhou Federation of Labor Unions, Zhao Tianxing, Vice President of FREP, Li Xiangyang, a level-4 researcher of Quanzhou HR and Social Security Bureau, and Huang Shengfu, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Quangang District People’s Congress, attended the closing ceremony and presented awards to the winners.

The two-day competition was conducted in the form of written examination and operation skill test, mainly on professional theoretical knowledge, troubleshooting of chemical pump and installation and commissioning of chemical rotating equipment.

After fierce competition, Lin Kaibin of FREP won the first prize; Shi Hanming of Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Chen Wenlong of Fujian Liya Chemical Co., Ltd. won the second prize; Peng Jiabao of Jiulong Paper (Quanzhou) Co.,Ltd., Chen Heping of Fujian Dongxin Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Wu Guoqing of Fujian Yanjing Huiquan Brewery Co., Ltd. won the third prize;

Zhang Jiangchuan of Fujian Yanjing Huiquan Brewery Co., Ltd., Ye Yanglin of Fuhai Cereal and Oil Co., Ltd., Zhuang Qiang of Fujian Meizhou Bay Chlor Alkali industry Co., Ltd., Xiang Xiaolong of Guodian Quanzhou Thermal Power Plant and Lin Jianbin of Quanzhou Pacific Container Terminal Company won the excellence prize.

The organizing committee of the competition decided to give the excellent organization award to FREP, Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Fujian Yanjing Huiquan Brewery Co., Ltd.

According to the rewarding method, the first prize winner will be awarded the honorary title of "Quanzhou Technique Expert" by the Municipal HR and Social Security Bureau, and the honorary title of "Quanzhou May 1st Labor Medal" by the Municipal Federation of Labor Unions; the second and third runners in the total score of the competition will be awarded the honorary title of "Quanzhou Gold Medal Worker" by the Municipal Federation of Labor Unions.

In the two-day competition, the competitors focused on the competition theme of post skill improvement, and made every effort to strive for the first place, promoted learning by competition, showed high skills and a good morale, and created a good atmosphere of concentrating on work, practicing skills hard and growing up to be talents on posts.
