Sinopec International Cooperation Department Visited the Company for Research on the Steam Cracker Expansion Project
On April 22, Zou Wenzhi, Deputy General Manager of the Middle and Down Stream Cooperation Office of Sinopec International Cooperation Department, led personnel of the Development Planning Department, Refining Business Department, Chemical Business Department and other disciplines to conduct research on the early stage work of the steam cracker expansion project. Liu Xiangdong, General Manager of FPCL, and Lin Xu, Vice President of FREP, held in-depth discussions with Zou Wenzhi and his delegation.
Zou Wenzhi said that FREP was a model of Sino foreign joint venture of refining and chemical integrated project. To further learn advanced technologies and experience at home and abroad, and actively promote the progress of the project, Sinopec would continuously support the development of FREP and provide support and help as far as possible.
At the meeting, Chen Jinbiao, development planning manager of Technical and Planning Department of the company, introduced the early-stage research results and preliminary schedule of the steam cracker expansion project. Yue Cheng, project manager of Sinopec Engineering Incorporation, reported the optimization ideas of the general process, early-stage scheme and current progress of the project.
Leaders and experts held warm exchanges and discussions on the topics of concern, affirmed the overall ideas of project planning and the research results, and put forward requirements and suggestions for the next stage of work.
Zou Wenzhi and his delegation also visited the production area, Qinglanshan Terminal and Liyuwei Terminal of the company and Nanshan area in Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park.
Personnel of FPCL Development Planning Office, FREP Process Department, Technical & Planning Department and Marketing & Sales Department also attended the meeting. (Huang Jinpeng)
