On the afternoon of April 13, a delegation led by President Joost Emmen and Vice President Nouraddin A. Yousuf visited the PTA plant of Baihong Petrochemical Company in Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park, accompanied by Liu Kezhao, General Manager of Marketing & Sales Department.

He Wenyao, Vice President of Baihong Group, welcomed Joost Emmen and the delegation visiting Baihong Petrochemical Company. He commented that the two companies had years of cooperation and smooth communication on EG business and other products. He hoped that both sides would establish a long-term and solid cooperation, and further strengthen cooperation for win-win development.

Joost Emmen congratulated Baihong Petrochemical Company on its smooth startup. He said that the direct supply of feedstock from FREP to Baihong Petrochemical Company via pipeline was a valuable industrial chain. We were committed to better development and cooperation of upstream and downstream industrial chains and firmly take the responsibility of win-win cooperation among "leading" enterprises in the region. According to the work ideas of establishing highly intensive, integrated and park-oriented industrial chain, FREP would continuously extend the industrial chain with increasing competitiveness, and actively cooperate with local government to promote investment, construction and development of downstream enterprises in Quangang District. FREP attached great importance to the cooperative development in extending the downstream industrial chain, so as to realize win-win cooperation and contribute to the development of local economy.

Both sides also had in-depth communication and exchanges on the topics of interest.

   Fujian Baihong Petrochemical Company operates a 2.5MTA PTA unit invested by Fujian Baihong Group. The plant is located in Nanshan area of Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park. Baihong Petrochemical Company was put into operation in January 2021 with PX feed supplied by FREP via pipeline. Up to April 13, FREP Marketing & Sales Department had actively communicated and negotiated with customers on projects concerning integrated industrial chain, energy saving and emission reduction, and established direct upstream and downstream cooperation with  5 downstream customers.
