On March 9, the company Party Committee held a meeting to promote learning and education of the Party's history, and thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches. In accordance with the requirements of the unified deployment of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Sinopec Group and the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, the company mobilized the Party branches and the Party members and cadres at all levels to improve ideological understanding and political level. With the spirit of "standing at the front and striving for the first", promoted the learning and education of the Party's history in the company, guided the cadres and employees to learn wisdom and strength from the Party's hundred years of struggle to make continuous progress, adhere to the original aspiration and mission, strengthen the belief in victory, and work hard to realize the all-round high-quality development of the company.

Gu Yuefeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company, made mobilization speech on behalf of the Party Committee of the company. Liu Xiangdong, General Manager of FPCL and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, chaired the meeting and conveyed the spirit of the mobilization meeting of learning and education of the Party's history of Sinopec Group and Fujian Province.

Gu Yuefeng emphasized that we should conscientiously study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, and profoundly understand the great significance, objectives and requirements and practical essentials of learning and education of the Party's history. We must persist in learning, understanding and implementing, and adhere to the four targets of learning the Party's history, i.e., understanding the rules through history learning, improving integrity through history learning, upholding morality through history learning and implementing practically through history learning, as the ruler to test learning and education of the Party's history, continuously improve the ability and capture the overall situation and the trend, respond to the risks and challenges, and improve the ability and performance in practical work. We should accurately grasp the key points of practice, focus on the basis of "learning the Party's history", understand the key of "understanding the thoughts", highlight the key point of "doing real deeds", and pay attention to the goal of "create a new start", guide the Party members and cadres to work hard to start the new journey of all-round high-quality development with high spirit, integrate into the industrial pattern of "one base, two wings, three new" and the all-round high-quality development of Fujian Province, and work hard to build a leading refining and petrochemical integrated enterprise in China to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party with great achievements.

Gu Yuefeng commented that we should adhere to the unity of knowledge and practice, and transfer the achievements of learning and education of the Party's history into new driving forces for the all-round high-quality development of the company. In the course of learning the Party's hundred years of history, we should use our brains, combine with practical work, and learn with questions. We should insist on the connection between understanding history and capturing the reality, and understand the great will power of making accomplishments. We should adhere to combining mastering the development law and strengthening adaptability and draw on the strength of high-quality development. We should adhere to practicing the Party's purposes in line with our original aspiration and mission, and always uphold the people-oriented development concept. We should improve struggle ability through learning historical experience, effectively prevent and resolve all kinds of risks and challenges. We should adhere to integrating inheritance and innovation, and forge the revolutionary character of eternal struggle. We should insist on the unity of strengthening political construction and practicing "two uphold", be firmly loyal to the Party, follow the Party's command and be brave and capable to fulfill tough tasks and targets.

Gu Yuefeng required that we should adhere to advancement up to high standards and high quality, and ensure that learning and education of the Party's history can achieve solid results. The Party branches at all levels should strengthen organization and leadership, and allocate responsibilities in a solid manner; provide positive education and guidance to establish correct views on the Party’s history; innovate ways and methods to promote in-depth and practical learning; pay attention to transfer learning into practice, work hard to achieve practical results, and ensure that the Party members and cadres think about, understand, practice and achieve effects through learning. We should promote the close combination of learning and education with all work, reflect the effects of learning and education in solving issues, promoting development and reforming, and test the results of learning and education with the achievements in production safety, operation and management, project construction, unit maintenance, feed-in and startup and pandemic prevention and control.

Liu Xiangdong put forward the requirements for implementing the spirit of the meeting, emphasized that we should pay attention to learning, planning, earnestly work on conveying and learning the spirit of the meeting, improve political level, and develop the work plan closely around the targets and requirements of understanding the rules, improving integrity and morality and implementing practically through learning and education of the Party’s history, to lay a solid foundation for a powerful, orderly and effective operation of learning and education of the Party’s history. We should focus on the key points and seek practical results, combine learning and education of the Party's history with promoting the company's all-round high-quality development, setting a good start for the 14^th Five-Year Plan, completing the annual production and operation tasks, improving quality of the Party building and maintaining a good political ecology, and work hard to create a new chapter for the progress of all the business of the company.

Management personnel of the Party branches at all levels of the company, joint ventures, restructured companies and relevant personnel of the Party& Union Department participated in the meeting.
