FREP Opened the Training Academy
On May 11, the company held the kick-off ceremony of FREP Training Academy. OOP attended the ceremony, with the management personnel of all departments and Business Teams, lead of each Model Worker Innovation Studio and representatives of internal trainers of each training base.
At the kick-off ceremony, OOP of the company jointly unveiled the plague for FREP Training Academy.
President Joost Emmen, chairman of FREP Training Academy, delivered a speech. He first congratulated FREP Training Academy on its inauguration. He said that the Academy was composed of four parts, i.e., production process, HSE, mechanical equipment, and comprehensive management, which were also the key focus areas of the company. This was a good learning platform, and through training and learning, the Academy would continuously improve professional quality of the employees. He hoped that all employees would actively participate in training and learning, and grow with the company together to realize the value of life.
Joost Emmen stressed that the company's vision was to be a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness. In the process of building a world-class company, it needed the support of high-quality talents. FREP Training Academy was established timely to meet the demands of the company's development, talent strategy, transformation and upgrading. The task of FREP Training Academy was to cultivate talents urgently needed for the high-quality development of the company, and promote the company to continuously improve competitiveness, and it was also a long-term development strategy of the company.
Vice President Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Vice President Lin Xu and Vice President Zhao Tianxing fully affirmed the opening of FREP Training Academy, emphasized the significance of training work and put forward expectations. They required: first, training work of the Academy should focus on the core production and operation work and the planning and development strategy of the company, and promote the implementation of the strategy of the company. Second, continuously improve the hardware and software facilities of the Academy, actively benchmark with advanced enterprises, innovate training methods, and provide talent support for the future development of the company. Third, strengthen the development of the curriculum system of the Academy, improve the rules and regulations continuously, and strengthen the construction of internal trainers team to ensure effectiveness of training. Fourth, training should focus on the key points, difficulties and contradictions in the development of the company. Taking the Academy as the platform, make joint efforts to carry out research and training, and lay a solid foundation for the future development of the company.
OOP issued the certificates of office for the deans of the four schools. The deans delivered speeches and issued the school plagues to the leads of the practical training bases and Innovation Studios.
Taking the opportunity of inauguration, FREP Training Academy would continuously strengthen capacity construction and contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall quality of employees, so as to ensure competent employees for the overall high-quality development of the company.
