On July 15, vice president Lin Xu visited the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xiamen University for a research on cooperation of production, study and research.

Lin Xu commented that Xiamen University, as a famous university in China, had a long history of cooperation with FREP. FREP looked forward to continuing in-depth exchanges and close cooperation with Xiamen University, and making achievements in new product development, new technology incubation and talent training.

Xie Zhaoxiong, Dean of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xiamen University, welcomed the delegation led by Lin Xu. He commented that FREP was a leading enterprise in petrochemical industry in Fujian Province. Xiamen University had strong strengths in chemical scientific research. The two parties would strengthen cooperation and exchange, and explore prosperous prospects in new product research and development and talent cultivation.

At the meeting, professionals of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xiamen University shared the development history of the school, the latest scientific and technological achievements, and the "production, study and research" platform established with domestic petrochemical enterprises. Relevant personnel of FREP HR& Admin Department introduced the ideas of cooperation between the Company and universities and other scientific research institutions in product research and development.

The two sides had extensive and in-depth exchanges on topics of common concern such as new chemical technologies, polyolefin product development and talent cultivation, and planned to start work on the preliminary intentions agreed at the meeting, so as to facilitate substantive progress in cooperation.

Ji Houping, general manager of Process Department (chemical), Abdullatef Almufti, general manager of Technical& Planning Department, Lu Yinghua, director of the Production, Study and Research Center of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and Wang Yuanpeng, dean of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering of Xiamen University, also attended the meeting.
