The Company Management Visited Frontline Employees in Hot Weather


August was extremely hot. Facing the "scorching heat" of summer, the frontline employees of the Company worked hard on their posts to complete production tasks up to high quality and quantity.

On the morning of August 12, the Company Labor Union carried out the activity of visiting frontline employees. The Company management, Liu Xiangdong, Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Zhao Tianxing, Lin Xu, Neo Ee Ee and Yang Fei, following two different paths, visited the primary level units and shift teams to distribute heatstroke prevention supplies to frontline employees.

In Mechanical Department, Product Quality Center, CCR of the old plant, fire brigade, CCR of EOEG BT, Electrical Operation Monitoring Center, PO field operation room, PO product storage yard, Olefin field operator room, new CCR, Engineer Building, security guard at Gate #1, staff cafeteria in the plant and CCR of Terminal, the Company management distributed heatstroke prevention supplies to the hard working employees and thanked their hardworking in the hot weather, and their contributions to stable and safe operation of the Company.

In Mechanical Department, Company management Liu Xiangdong, Lin Xu and Neo Ee Ee walked around the office area to greet the employees on duty and thanked them for defending production safety of the units in the hot weather. Liu Xiangdong listened to the report on the Company's project management in detail. When he learned that the Company's project management has realized systematization and informatization, and the project management efficiency has been greatly improved, he praised and encouraged them to make unremitting efforts for new contributions and better performance for the Company’s development.

In CCR of the old plant, when distributing heatstroke prevention supplies, Liu Xiangdong, Lin Xu, Neo Ee Ee and other Company management expressed gratitude to the employees for their hard work, and told them to prevent heatstroke in work and pay special attention to safety during rounds inspection. When communicated with the Business Team members, Liu Xiangdong inquired about the units’ operation in detail, and asked the Business Team to make proper arrangement and provide a good working environment for employees. Liu Xiangdong also visited the cafeteria in the old CCR to learn about employees’ opinions on the environment and facilities. He commented that attention shall be paid to employees' affairs, manage the details and create a tidy and comfortable dining place for employees.

In CCR of EOEG BT, Liu Xiangdong, Lin Xu and Neo Ee Ee inquired about in detail the stable operation of EOEG units. They required the Business Team to focus on market demands, seize opportunity and further improve profitability the units while ensuring production safety, and contribute to the completion of the annual targets.

In CCR of the new plant, Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Zhao Tianxing and Yang Fei had a cordial conversation with the employees. The Company management emphasized that the retirement wave and the new hires growth in recent years was a challenging task. The experienced employees were expected to work hard on "apprenticeship", to enable the youth employees to become skillful as soon as possible, so as to lay a solid foundation for safe and stable operation of the Company.

Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Zhao Tianxing and Yang Fei visited the Electrical Operation Monitoring Center and inquired about electrical operation in summer. They stressed that hot weather was a severe test to the power system, and good maintenance was required to ensure smooth operation of the units.

In field operator room of PO Business Team, the Company management Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Zhao Tianxing and Yang Fei distributed heatstroke prevention supplies to the employees, and hoped them to pay attention to heatstroke prevention and labor protection, and inquired about production and operation of the units in detail. They hoped that the Business Team would research and develop new products with good profitability, and make greater contributions to profitability of the Company.

Facing the severe test of scorching heat and extreme weather, the frontline employees worked hard on their posts and contributed to development of the Company with great enthusiasm. At each place, the Company management inquired about production, people and safety protection measures in detail, cared about employees' living, work and rest, and expected the Business Teams to ensure heatstroke prevention and labor protection, scientifically and reasonably schedule work and rest time, and provide heatstroke prevention medicine, drinks and other labor protection supplies at site.

The Company management expected all departments and Business Teams to attach great importance to work safety in summer, ensure smooth and safe advancement of all work and typhoon and flood prevention in summer. They commented that the Company was facing big pressure of epidemic prevention and control, as well as arduous tasks of production, operation and businesses. We should stick to the Company's annual targets, focus on production safety of the units, work hard on innovation and profitability, and take measures to ensure successfully completion of the annual targets and tasks. The Company management encouraged all employees to keep high morale, make greater contributions to fulfilling the Company's annual targets, and prepare for the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with good performance.

Braving the hot weather, the Company management visited the frontline employees to thank their hard work, which greatly stimulated enthusiasm of the employees. The employees said that they would work hard on their posts with even higher enthusiasm, and ensure all tasks are successfully completed.
