On the afternoon of August 24, the exchange on Party building in joint ventures convened by the Organization Department of the Party Committee of FPCL was held in FREP.

Yang Fei, deputy secretary of the Company Party Committee, secretary of the Company Discipline Inspection Commission and chairman of the Company Labor Union, Du Hongming, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and chairman of the Labor Union of Fujian Gulei Petrochemical Company, the management and other relevant personnel of the Party and Union Department of FREP and Gulei Petrochemical Company, leads of some primary level Party organizations, and Party organization leads and full-time Party workers of Linde-FPCL Gas Company and Fuhua Gas Company total of 30 people attended the exchange activity.

Yang Fei commented that the exchange on Party building work would help improve Party building work of all joint ventures and the Big Fulian Group. He put forward three suggestions on further strengthening the Party building work. First, ensure the quality and effectiveness of Party building and joint construction. The Party and Union Departments of FREP and Gulei Petrochemical Company were expected to take the opportunity of joint construction to strengthen communication and exchange, achieve resource sharing, make progress together, realize win-win development, achieve the goal of promoting standardization, exchange and improvement through joint construction, and improve the Party building work level of the Big Fulian Group in an all-round way.

Second, earnestly strengthen practice and innovation of Party building at primary level. Summarize experience of Party building work in joint ventures and improve continuously through practice. Make efforts on the key points, focus on the difficulties, and find out the highlights. Continuously carry out innovative practice in Party building, timely summarize experience, normalize them and make continuous improvement, turn good practices into experience, turn difficulties into shinning spots, and turn the brand into a gold medal. The Party building work must not deviate from the core work, the main path, the center and the principle of serving the employees.

Third, effectively improve Party building ability and level. Party building is both a science and a business. Party workers should put study first, conscientiously study the theoretical knowledge of Party building and systems and regulations of the Party, and study the basic laws and methods of Party building in a down-to-earth manner. We should always stress politics, correctly understand the importance of Party building, ensure effective implementation of work in a concrete manner, and work hard to improve Party building work to a higher level.

Du Hongming thanked the Organization Department of Party Committee of FPCL and Party& Union Department of FREP for their good preparations for this exchange activity. He commented that the Party building work of FREP was problem-oriented, with clear ideas, effective measures and key points. It was deeply integrated with the core work, solved difficulties and bottlenecks in production and operation of the Company, and achieved good effect, which gave us great inspiration and was worth learning for Gulei Petrochemical Company.

Du Hongming commented that like brothers, Gulei Petrochemical Company and FREP had the same genes and were as close as one family. In the future, we should strengthen contact, enhance communication, learn from each other and make progress together.

Before the meeting, witnessed by the management personnel and representatives, the Party& Union Department of FREP signed off a joint construction agreement of Party building with the person in charge of Party&Union Department of Gulei Petrochemical Company.

At the meeting, Ye Zhenguo, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of FPCL, introduced the organizational structure and operation of the Party and Union organizations of FPCL and FREP. Zheng Yaoming, vice chairman of the Labor Union and director of Party& Union Department of FREP, introduced the Party building work of FREP.

Xiao Lin, secretary of the Party branch and manager of Instrument Group of Mechanical Department, made a report on the work practice of creating a "demonstration site for construction of primary level Party branches of Sinopec", experience of guiding Labor Union building by Party building, and practices of carrying out skills and talent training in Zhang Zhaohong Model Worker Innovation Studio.

The representative of "Advanced Primary Level Party Organizations of Fujian Province", Lu Jun, secretary of the Party branch and manager of PO Business Team, shared experience in integrating Party building with production to promote production, and introduced the practices and results of the Party branch in leading employees to participate in development and production of new products, promoting the second generation shared pallets, and reducing the thickness of heavy packaging films.

Lin Minliang, the representative of "Advanced Party Worker of Quanzhou" and secretary of the Party branch and manager of Product Quality Center of Technical& Planning Department, shared his experience in Party building, and introduced practices of youth employee training, on-post training and skills competition.

During interactive communication, representatives of primary level Party workers exchanged opinions on topics such as Party members' learning and education, on-post training, skills competition, innovative work mode and training of youth employees in depth.

On the morning of the day, the attendees visited FREP Exhibition Hall, experience safety skills training at Huang Xiaobin Model Worker Safety Innovation Studio, and visited the practical skill training base and the employees’ library in Zhang Zhaohong Model Worker Innovation Studio. (Zhang Lei)
