On November 7, Chen Weihui, a second level inspector from Fujian Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, and his delegation visited the Company for researching energy saving work. Vice President Lin Xu met with Chen Weihui and his delegation and had a discussion meeting.

Lin Xu introduced the status of energy saving work, the progress in achieving energy consumption and efficiency targets, and the accomplishments of energy-saving measures. Taking the Aromatics Low-temperature Heat Energy Saving Revamp Project as an example, he introduced in detail the Company's achievements in energy recovery, equipment efficiency improvement, and total energy saved.

Chen Weihui commended the achievements of the Company in energy saving and carbon reduction, and learnt the production capacity, total energy consumption and leading energy efficiency of the Company. In addition, he also introduced the new technology for energy saving and the policies about carbon emission to the enterprise.

At the meeting, the two sides also had in-depth exchanges on photovoltaic project, effective utilization of carbon dioxide, and the challenges in energy saving and carbon reduction.
