The Company Held the 2025 New Hires Assignment and Orientation Close-out Meeting
On September 16, the Company held 2025 New Hires Assignment and Orientation Close-out Meeting.
Company leaders Lin Xu, Yang Fei, Suchart Phowatthanasathian, and Haytham Zamzami attended the meeting. Heads of relevant functional departments, business teams, and new hires participated in the meeting.
Acting President Lin Xu congratulated the new employees on successfully completing their onboarding training and officially embarking on their careers at FREP. He encouraged the new employees to transform the insights and experiences gained from the training into enthusiasm and motivation for their roles, urged them to do all they can to catch up, swiftly grow into the backbone of the Company, and achieve harmony between personal aspirations and corporate development.
Lin Xu raised three expectations for the new employees. First, they should cherish their posts and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly, integrating knowledge with action to pursue excellence in ordinary positions. They should quickly adapt to their new roles, deeply comprehend the significance and value of their work, immerse themselves in the frontline production, start with small tasks and foundational work, unify knowledge with practices, let knowledge guide actions and actions deepen understanding, striving to become experts in their respective fields and achieve extraordinary results in ordinary posts.
Second, they should hone exceptional skills, remain steadfast in their endeavors, and take proactive strides in the tides of the times. They should maintain an open mindset and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, learning from books, practice, and within the team. They should be bold in taking responsibility and embracing challenges, honing exceptional professional skills and comprehensive business acumen through real-world experience.
Third, they should uphold moral integrity and carry forward fine traditions, realizing their value in the crucible of teamwork. They should always adhere to the bottom line of integrity, maintain a sense of reverence, focus on personal cultivation, and inherit and promote the spirit of petroleum and petrochemical traditions. They should be willing to endure hardship, bear fatigue, withstand pressure, and grow into a pillar of the Company through practical experience.
Yang Fei, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Labor Union, hopes that new employees will “root” themselves at the primary-level organizations, accumulate practical experience, refine their skills, and temper their character, laying a solid foundation for long-term development. They should "keep their eyes" on the bigger picture, proactively align with the Company’s overall interests, understand and excel in their work, actively learn, think critically, and consciously link personal growth with corporate development. They should integrate “growth” into concrete actions of responsibility and hard work, enhance proactive work awareness, emphasize accountability, excel in execution, shoulder heavy burdens, tackle tough challenges, and improve their capabilities through one task after another.
Suchart Phowatthanasathian, Vice President, requires new employees to prioritize safety, translating safety awareness into concrete actions to protect themselves, their colleagues, and those around them. They should be adept at learning, making full use of available resources, diligently studying, seeking advice humbly, and mastering correct, safe, and efficient work methods.
Vice President Haytham Zamzami encouraged new employees to uphold the philosophy of “One Team One Goal” fostering unity and collaboration, daring to explore, actively asking questions, continuously pushing their limits, demonstrating strong growth mindsets, and contributing to the Company's high-quality development.
The meeting was held to commend the outstanding trainees and groups from 2025 Orientation Training Program and announce the job assignments for the new hires.
During the meeting, new hires were divided into four groups to present and showcase their training achievements and personal insights, highlighting their youthful vigor from various perspectives. They expressed confidence and determination to swiftly adapt to their new roles and contribute their youthful energy to the Company's high-quality development. (Zhang Lei)
