On the morning of February 13, the Company held the 2026 Spring Festival symposium to honor model workers. Lin Xu, Acting President of the Company, and Yang Fei, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Labor Union, attended the meeting. They gathered with representatives of model workers who have been honored at the municipal level or above, including recipients of the "May 1st" Labor Medal, to celebrate the New Year, talk about commitment, and discuss development.

During the meeting, Lin Xu and Yang Fei extended New Year greetings and sincere regards to the model workers. They fully affirmed the outstanding achievements made by the model workers across various fronts in the past year and encouraged all model workers to continue promoting the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship. They emphasized the importance of playing a pioneering and exemplary role, making genuine efforts to strengthen the foundations of safety and environmental protection, and achieving tangible results in promoting quality and profitability improvement.

In his speech, Lin Xu pointed out that over the past year, the Company faced a complex market environment and multiple operational challenges. All cadres, employees, and model workers worked together, persevered under pressure, and advanced steadily, driving the Company’s production and operations toward stability, progress, and excellence amid exploring new development paths. The comprehensive energy consumption of Refining, SC, and Aromatics units all reached historically optimal levels, successfully achieving the annual goal of turning losses into profits. These accomplishments could not have been achieved without the dedication and contributions of model workers at all levels.

Lin Xu emphasized that the Company faces arduous tasks of achieving structure optimization as well as transformation and development, requiring model workers to step up and face challenges head-on. He put forward three requirements: first, focus on value creation and take on heavy responsibilities in improving quality and profitability; second, concentrate efforts on making technical breakthroughs to strengthen the foundation for the long-term safe operation of units; third, pool energy into talent cultivation to accumulate developmental momentum through the passing down of knowledge and skills.

Yang Fei stated that in the face of the heavy tasks related to work safety, operation and management, as well as development and stability over the past year, the model workers, with their characters featuring "exceptional endurance, performance and dedication", vividly embodied the spirit of model workers: "loving their posts and dedicating themselves to their work, striving for excellence, working hard and innovating courageously, remaining indifferent to fame and fortune, and willingly making sacrifices."

Yang Fei expressed three hopes for all model workers: first, let the spirit of model workers become the driving engine for overcoming difficulties; second, let the craftsmanship spirit thrive through inheritance; third, let the care from the Labor Union resonate with the needs of model workers, jointly contributing to the Company's high-quality development.

At the meeting, national model workers Zhang Zhaohong and Wu Liangjiang, as well as Fujian provincial model worker Huang Xiaobin, delivered speeches in turn. They provided detailed reports on the construction, operation, and effectiveness of the national exemplary model worker and craftsman talent innovation studios, as well as the model worker innovation studios. They also shared development ideas in alignment with the Company's key work plans for 2026.

National model worker Liu Haifeng and representatives of model workers at various levels spoke freely and offered suggestions based on their respective positions, discussing topics such as work safety, market expansion, shift team building, and talent cultivation. The atmosphere at the event was lively and harmonious.
