On the morning of January 21, FREP leaders, including Lu Dong, Chen Xiaobo, Abdullah H. Al Sebail, Brian Ablett, Yang Hongbin, Han Baolin, Liu Yanchang, Hu Hongye and Zhao Liping, visited production site to give New Year’s greetings to the employees who are still working during Spring Festival.

The leaders went to Laboratory Centre first, expressing their NEW YEAR wishes to the employees still working. Then they visited the Fire Brigade of HSE Department, extending New Year’s greetings to all staff of the fire-fighting brigade who kept working on the forefront of production to ensure safety during Spring Festival. FREP leaders hoped that everyone could practice harder to be the escort of FREP safe production, making more contributions in the New Year.

In CCR of the existing plant, FREP leaders shook hands with the on-duty employees and expressed New Year’s greetings. President Lu Dong said that in 2011, FREP withstood various tests and obtained new achievements in each item of work by centering on Five Key Focal Areas (KFAs), i.e. safety, reliability, gross profit, operation cost and personnel and through lean management, market expansion, operation optimization, potential exploration and efficiency promotion, creating a good beginning for the five-year goal of "Building a Integrated Leading Oil refining & Chemical Enterprise in Asia". Mr Lu wished that FREP would lay consistent emphasis on Five KFAs with the profit as the center and optimization as means, ensuring new progress in performance and new contributions to FREP development.

The leaders came to the CCR of the new plant without a stop, expressing their wishes to the employees still working during Spring Festival. They also expressed their sincere thanks to all employees for their unremitting efforts for safe and stable production in 2011 and for their excellent achievements. The leaders hoped that all of us could work elaborately to maintain long-term safe and reliable operation of the plant in 2012, and continue to do well in the activities of energy-saving and consumption-reduction, improving technological and economic indicators and promoting management level.

FREP leaders also paid visits to the forefront employees of gasoline/diesel loading station, water steam CCR, the new substation building, LYW Terminal. The leaders asked employees about their production and life conditions, and also expressed greetings from OOP and the Party committee of the Company.

The on-duty employees during Spring Festival were very grateful for the care from FREP leaders. They indicated that they would keep forging ahead to work well on their duty, ensuring safe and reliable production during Spring Festival and making contribution to greater development of the Company.
