In the night of May 17, Worker’s Songs, the variety show of “May Day” of FREP opened in the theater of living quarter. Programs of the show were edited, directed and acted all by FREP staff to promote the spirit of model workers, eulogize the features of times of the staff and reveal their good spirit with many artistic performing forms including singing and dancing. FREP leaders Lu Dong, Chen Xiaobo, Yang Hongbin, Han Baolin, Liu Yanchang and Zhao Liping watched the show along with more than one thousand spectators.

Huang Xiaobin, security coordinator of Fuels-2 BT of the Process Department of FREP, was awarded “Model Worker of Quanzhou”. League general branch of Fujian Linde-FPCL Gases Company Limited was awarded “Red League General Branch of Fujian Province”. Chen Xiaobo, secretary of the Party committee and Yang Hongbin, the deputy secretary awarded the certificate of honor and flowers to Huang Xiaobin and Ou Liuying. Huang Xiaobin delivered the award-winning speech, saying excitedly, “Thanks to the training of company and team. I would take this honor as pressure and motive power, work even harder and put all my heart and soul to the safe operation of the unit.”

Flowersare given to model workers and songs are singing for the heroes. The show began with the dance “Inspiring China” performed by the team from Fujian Meizhou Bay Chlor-Alkali Industry Co., Ltd. The blowing drums were most inspiring. Atmosphere was very warm during the show. There were a variety of programs and 14 of them including the “workers’ songs”, poetry reading with music; the “Youthful Friend Come Together”, duet of male and female voices and the dance “Have a Good Time Together”. They won much applause among the spectators. Eulogizing model workers is because that we get an inexhaustible motive force from their deeds and spirits, thus our enthusiasm for labor and the energy in creation are evoked, we can distinguish ourselves in our respective posts and together build a better tomorrow for FREP

Performers were singing and dancing on the stage, while the audiences below the stage were also singing loud. The sound fell and rose mainly in the three staff groups who came from FPCL, FREP, Fuyuan and Ruisheng Company. People on the stage interacted with people below the stage, jubilation reigned everywhere and the show was going on with one and another climax.

When the show was over, FREP leaders went on the stage, shook hands with the model workers and performers to extend warm greetings, and also took photos with them to mark the occasion.
