On June 29, FPCL grandly held the Summary and Commendation Meeting for “Excel in the Performances” Activity to celebrate the 91st anniversary of CPC in Fulian Movie Theatre. About 600 persons, including FPCL party committee members, primary party organizations, party member representatives and party activists attended the meeting.

Mr. Lu Dong, member of the CPC FPCL Committee and President of FREP presided over the meeting, Mr. Chen Xiaobo, Secretary of CPC FPCL Committee made an important speech, Mr. Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of CPC FPCL Committee read out the commendation decision and Mr. Han Baolin, Deputy Secretary of CPC FPCL Committee circulated a notice on the information of 5 advanced collectives and excellent individuals commended by the superior party organization.

At 2:00 pm, the meeting was opened in the passionate National Anthem. Facing the bright red party flag, 36 new party members raised their right hands and solemnly sworn to devote their lives to the cause of Communism and the old party members reviewed the oath to join the CPC.

13 advanced primary party branches (general branches) including Party branch of Fuels-4 BT of the Process Department, No.5 Party Group of the Party Branch of Chemicals-1 BT and other 6 advanced party groups, Ma Longxiang and other 79 excellent CPC members and Wang Quanxiang and other 22 excellent party workers were commended at the meeting.

Mr. Chen Xiaobo expressed warm congratulations to the advanced collectives and individuals commended on behalf of the CPC FPCL Committee and extended cordial greetings and high respect to all CPC members used to work and currently working in each fronts diligently. In his speech, he reviewed the glorious course of CPC in the 91 years since its founding, summarized the practical experience of each level of party organization of FPCL in carrying out the activity of striving for excellence since 2010 and raised the specific requirements on future work: 1. Further strength party construction work centered on the successful holding of the 18th Congress of CPC; 2. Build a world first-class enterprise centered on the group corporation and further strengthen party construction improving work; 3. Further improve the party construction work centered on the overall completion of target task of FPCL in this year.

At 3:00 pm, the meeting was concluded in the magnificent Internationale.
