On July 3^rd, FREP OPP went to SINOPEC headquarters to visit Zhang Jianhua, senior vice president of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec).

At the report meeting, president Lu Dong firstly appreciated the shareholder SINOPEC for its long-term concern and support to FREP on behalf of FREP OOP. Afterwards, vice president Brian Ablett and vice president Abdullah H. Al Sebail successively reported FREP operation status, progress of Five Key Focal Areas (KFAs), marketing and sales situations as well as difficulties and challenges encountered by FREP.

Zhang Jianhua, senior vice president of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation fully recognized the efforts of JV and FREP management. He noted that “SINOEPEC,ExxonMobil and Saudi Aramco are all world-class great petroleum companies and have made positive contributions to the world energy supply and development of the human society and that the strategic cooperation among the three companies is correct and successful. As representatives of each shareholder, three members of JV OOP are emissaries and links of friendship. Your sincere cooperation has enhanced the cohesion and good images of the shareholders. At present, impacted by international crude oil price and macroeconomic situations, the refining and chemical enterprises are faced with great challenges of benefit. However, the difficulties we encounter now are only temporary and can be surely overcome as long as we all unite and forge ahead. I will organize more colleagues of SINOPEC subsidiaries to visit FREP to learn your advanced concept, good practices and management when JV has scored more achievements. ”

Themeeting participants also included Zhang Haichao, vice president of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation and director of oil product sales division, Lei Dianwu, vice president and director of development and planning department, Ling Yiqun, vice president and director of oil refining division, Yu Renming, director of production & operation management department and Xu Yaohua, deputy director of chemical division of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, who made specific comments and advices to the operation management work of JV.
