On Oct. 19, the delegation of Saudi Aramco consisting of 21 people came to visit Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP). Mr. Lu Dong Chairman and President, Mr. Abdullah H. Al Sebail Vice President and Mr. Brian Ablett Vice President met with the delegation at Furui Hotel, and both parties held friendly talks. Mr. Liu Yanchang, Operation General Manager was present.

Firstly, Mr. Lu Dong President on behalf of the company’s OOP expressed warm welcome for the delegation, and briefly introduced the situations on production & operation and future development planning. He said “Since its establishment five year ago, the company has been fully supported by both Chinese and foreign shareholders, all staffs work together and have made remarkable achievements in many fields.” He hoped all the people would work together to operate and develop the existing projects properly, and further expand the cooperation in refining & petrochemical and strategic new industry etc to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcome and extend our good cooperative relations further. He finally said “FREP is your home, welcome all of you to come back often, and I expect that you can tell your colleagues to visit FREP as well.”

Vice president Mr. Brian Ablett stated that “The company has run smoothly with care and support of both Chinese and foreign shareholders, and especially has good cooperation with the shareholders including Saudi Aramco. I hope that the delegation can walk into FREP and exchange views with employees, and I expect that you have interviews and talks.” He said “I’m very happy today as a host, I hope that today’s talk is a good start and both parties have further communications.”

Mr. Al-Hokail, Samer A, representative of the delegation and senior operation engineer of the terminal engineering department stated that “we are so glad to visit your company, the delegation of Saudi Aramco is of high-profile this time and treasures the cooperation and friendship of both parties. We visited FREP’ site and saw the good development trend, this indicates that the strategic cooperation of the three shareholders is correct and successful, Saudi Aramco will feel more confident to increase the investment and further expand the areas of cooperation. Finally, I wish your company every success.”

Accompanied by Mr. Abdullah H. Al Sebail Vice President, the delegation visited the Integrated Project Exhibition Hall, Central Control Room in the new plant area, and also went to visit the Production Unit Area by car to understand the process flows and safety & environmental protection status etc in details.

Relevant department leaders of the company attended the meeting.
