On Oct. 16 ~ 18, Sinopec Development & Planning Department presided the basic design review meetings of ethylene unit revamp and GHU revamp for ethylene debottleneck & associated facilities project, BEU of new chemical plant project, and MTBE/butene-1 unit revamp in Beijing.

Representatives from Development and Reform Commission of Fujian Province, Sinopec Group, General Union, Ministry of Health, State Administration of Work Safety, Environmental Impact Assessment Center and Quanzhou Environmental Protection Bureau, Fire Detachment, Sinopec Engineering Department, Chemical Division, FPCL, the design unit Sinopec Engineering Incorporation (SEI) and the Owner FREP, and the invited experts attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the participants heard the report of the design unit on the basic design schemes of four individual units; they reviewed and discussed the basic design by seven discipline groups, and put forward many valuable suggestions and opinions.

It is also reported that the basic design review meeting for the 1200ktpa catalytic gasoline adsorption & desulfurization unit etc of the company’s oil product quality upgrading and crude oil adaptive revamp project was held in Beijing on Oct. 11 ~ 12. The participants heard the report of the design unit on the basic design contents, and made professional review by seven groups.
