On November 7, entrusted by Fujian Provincial Environmental Protection Department, Quanzhou Environmental Protection Bureau held the Technical Review Meeting for EIA report of Steam Cracker De-bottleneck Revamp Project at Furui Hotel. Totally, 46 people from Fujian Provincial Environmental Protection Department, Quanzhou Development & Reform Commission, Economy & Trade Committee, Ocean & Fishery Bureau, Quangang District Environmental Protection Bureau and Nanpu Township Government etc, the project owner FREP, the project design institute SEI, the project environment impact assessor Fujian Provincial Environment Science Research Institute etc as well as 7 invited experts attended the meeting.

During the meeting, representatives and experts listened to the introduction to the project by FREP and presentation on EIA report by the assessor and surveyed the jobsite and the surrounding environment. Through discussions, experts affirmed EIA report of Steam Cracker De-bottleneck Revamp Project, concluding that the report is in compliance with applicable national policies and the assessment conclusions are trustworthy.
