The Contract Signing Ceremony for Ethylene De-bottleneck & Associated Facilities Project EPC Stage was held at Furui Hotel on November 12, 2012.

Chairman and President Lu Dong attended the signing ceremony and raised requirements on the work for next stage. The signing ceremony was presided by the Operations General Manager Liu Yanchang. SINOPEC Engineering Department, SEI, FREP various departments and representatives of the shareholders witnessed the signing process.

Totally 23 contracts were signed at the signing ceremony, involving 5 supervision companies, i.e. Yangzi, Fangyuan, Baling, Huaxia and Hongmin, 5 construction contractors, i.e. The Fifth Construction Company of SINOPEC, the Tenth Construction Company of SINOPEC, Nanjing Engineering Incorporation, Fujian Provincial Industry Installation Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. and an inspection contractor i.e. Nanjing Yuyang. E+P+C management mode was used for all projects except the Third Loop Incoming Line Project. The signing of EPC stage contracts has indicated that the Ethylene De-bottleneck & Associated Facilities Project has transitioned from FEL stage to EPC stage and the key task of project construction has also shifted from front end loading to construction management in the field.
