On December 6^th, the senior management delegation of BASF and YPC Co., Ltd. (BYC) paid a visit to FREP. FREP Chairman & President Lu Dong and Vice Presidents Abdullah H. Al-Sebail and Brian Ablett met the delegation, and the two parties communicated each other about interesting subjects.

First, on behalf of Office of President, President Lu Dong welcomed BYC delegation’s visit to the joint venture and then briefly introduced operation and management status of the joint venture and HSE work progress in five KFAs. He stated that both FREP and BYC are large-scaled Sino-foreign joint ventures in China, the two companies are common in many aspects and it’s worthwhile for them to learn and borrow experience from each other. 

Dr. Albert Heuser, Deputy Chairman of BYC, Director Chang Zhenyong and President Dr. Stephan Kothrade expressed respectively that they were very happy to have the opportunity to visit FREP and appreciated FREP for providing an open and mutual trust communication platform that promoted the two sides to communicate and discuss about such interesting issues as personnel performance & training and trans-functional cooperation and enhance technical exchange and experience sharing between various departments of both parties. They sincerely invited FREP management to pay a visit to BYC for further enhancement of communication and cooperation between two sides.

Accompanied by FREP President Lu Dong and leaders of relevant departments, BYC delegation visited FREP exhibition hall and the central control room in the new plant area with great enthusiasm, and also went to visit the production unit area by car.
