Mr. Darren Woods, President of ExxonMobil Refining and Supply Visited FREP


December 14, Accompanied by ExxonMobil Asia-Pacific Region refining director Mr. Gary Wilson and etc, Mr. Darren Woods, President of ExxonMobil Refining and Supply visited FREP. FREP President & Chairman Mr. Lu Dong, Vice Presidents Mr. Abdullah H. Al-Sebail and Mr. Brian Ablett met with Mr. Darren Woods and his delegation, and the two parties held talks in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.

Firstly, President Lu Dong welcomed Mr. Darren Woods visit to FREP on behalf of Office of President and introduced FREP production operations and planning of future development to the guests. He said that the joint venture had significantly improved HSE performance and scored visible achievements in many aspects as a result of great support from foreign and Chinese shareholders and common efforts of all staff and employees since establishment five years ago. FREP Office of President together with the management will repay all shareholders with maximized benefits and are looking forward to shareholders’ great support and assistance.

Mr. Darren Woods said that he was very glad to visit FREP and communicate face-to-face with JV’s Office of President and management personnel and was deeply impressed by his visit to the production units. He noted that he highly recognized FREP business, philosophy and objectives; he identified with the hardship encountered now by the joint venture; and wished that both foreign and Chinese shareholders can cooperate with common efforts to achieve good operation and development of the joint venture and realize mutual benefit and win-win, so that our favorable cooperation relationship can last forever.

Mr. Darren Woods reviewed FREP 2012 performance and 2013 business plan as well as the financial situations. Accompanied by Vice President Brian Ablett, Mr. Darren Woods visited the exhibition hall, central control room in the new plant area and the production unit area with great enthusiasm.
