FREP Held 2013 Management Business Meeting
FREP 2013 management business meeting was held on January 21st, with participants including FREP OOP members, GM and DGM of FREP various departments, principal of project management group, manager of various teams and employees’ representatives.
President Lu Dong made the work report entitled with “Let’s unite and strive to meet challenges and make a new voyage for building an Asia leading refining and petrochemical integrated enterprise” at the meeting. He pointed out that, faced with complicated and severe domestic and international economic situations and ups and downs of petrochemical market circumstances, FREP had satisfactorily accomplished various targeted asks assigned early 2012 by firmly holding onto the general requirements of “optimization and improvement”, continuously focusing on “five KFAs” and making great efforts to ensure safety, stabilize production, adjust structure, cut down cost, increase benefit and boost development. As a result, FREP generally presented a good tendency of stability in safety, optimal trends in structure, effectiveness of management, efficiency improvement and enhancement in stamina. As regard to highlights of 2013, he emphasized seven items of concerns: first is to focus on HSE to continuously improve HSE performance; second is to focus on flawless operations to improve reliability with great efforts; third is to focus on coordination and support to accomplish turnaround and revamping assignments in an all-round way; fourth is to focus on optimization and improvement to improve gross margin with efforts; fifth is to focus on cost control to reduce the operation cost with efforts; sixth is to focus on personnel management to improve organization effectiveness; seven is to focus on cultural building to create favorable internal and external business environment.
Mr. Jean Pierre Vanlander, DGM of HR & Administration Dept. briefly introduced the program of leadership.
Discussions were made in different groups at the meeting and presentation was made for various objectives of documents related to KFAs.
The“energy team” was commended at the meeting and three employees, Dan Xin, Yin Huading and Chen Jinbiao were awarded with the “OOP Prize of 2012”.
Finally, vice presidents Mr. Abdullah H. Al Sebail and Mr. Brian Ablett gave summary speeches respectively. Various agenda were satisfactorily completed and the meeting was successfully closed in the afternoon of current day. (By Reporter)
