Continued improvement of SHE performance throughout the year. Strict and compliant SHE management improved intrinsic safety level of units and safety awareness of all employees in FREP.

Continuoulsy paid attention to FREP development. Both Chinese and foreign shareholders attached great importance to construction and development of the joint venture. SINOPEC Senior Vice President Dai Houliang,Saudi Aramco SVP Mr. Abdulrahman F. Al-Wuhaib,President Darren Woods of ExxonMobil Refining and Supply and etc. successively visited FREP. 

FREP was elected to fortune China 500, ranking at 179^th place.  At 2012 fortune China 500 release and China big enterprise summit meeting, China Enterprise Confederation and China Entrepreneur Association published the name list of Fortune China 500 to the society. FREP ranked at 179^th place with operating revenue of RM B 58.42851 billion Yuan.  

FREP refining and ethylene project officially passed the national completion acceptance. Through more than two years test of production operations, it is proven that Fujian refining and ethylene project invested and built by FREP is operated safely and stably, with actual output of main products exceeding designed capacity and product quality achieving excellence, thusly achieving good economic and social benefit.  

Satisfactorily completed release of financing shareholders’ guarantee for Fujian refining and ethylene project. FREP completed initial release of the project financing shareholders’ guarantee on December 31, 2010. One year later on December 30, 2011, FREP again met all conditions for final release and successfully completed full release of project financing shareholders’ guarantee. The project financing amount was equivalent to RMB 30 billion Yuan, which was the largest limited recourse project financing among Sino-foreign joint ventures at that time.

Fully pushed forward SCDP and TA/R project. Carried out contract signature at project FEED stage and EPC stage and performed engineering commencement for project basic design review and trial piling.

Promoted OIMS system. As a safety management tool, OIMS has provided a good framework for us to realize systematic and regulatory management of HSE issues and laid solid foundation for safe and stable operations of FREP.  

Promoted new business team operation and management. Completed optimization and restructuring of business teams and functional teams, improved business process and relevant performance management tools and further upgraded PMT organization effectiveness.

FREP firmly set up the citizen image of being a responsible enterprise. FREP carried out the environmental protection volunteer campaign of “Jointly Build and Share Wonderful Home”; carried out the “Plant Open Day” program by inviting community residents and students to visit plant area and experience FREP HSE performance in person.

FREP “Hexin” brand asphalt product was used to pave Fuyong Expressway. FREP managed to utilize “Hexin”brand asphalt on Fuyong (Fuzhou to Yongtai) Expressway construction by successfully developing and producing new products in accordance with the market demand on premium quality asphalt and in combination with FREP advanced process technology features. FREP can annually supply over 300 KT asphalt product to the market. (By Editorial Staff)
