The company held a series of celebration activities during the “March 8th” International Working Women's Day to let the female employees of the company to enjoy a harmonious, happy, warm and memorable holiday.

On March 8, a fun competition game for the female employees was held on the basketball court in the living quarters to celebrate the occasion. Secretary of the Company Party Committee Chen Xiaobo, Deputy Secretary and chairman of the labor union Yang Hongbin were presented at the site and observed the competition.

Secretary Chen Xiaobo gave an enthusiastic speech on behalf of the party committee and said emotionally that development achievements of the company in recent years can not be separated from the arduous efforts and hard work of the women workers of our company in their respective positions. He sent heartfelt thanks to everyone for their contribution for the development and construction of the FREP and wished healthy and happiness to everyone and their families.
The fun competition activities included rowing in the same boat, pull together, rolling wheels, and other items. During the match, all participators worked hard and courageously tried to become the first, winning bursts of cheers and applause from the audience and filled the site with an atmosphere of harmony and joy. The women workers of the company spent a happy and memorable holiday.

After fierce competition, the representative team of the comprehensive maintenance module of Mechanical Department, the representative team of Supply & Distribution Department, and the representative team of Fuels-2 BT Fuels-2 BT from the Process Department respectively won the top three places.

On March 7, the labor union of the company further held a symposium for women workers to celebrate the “March 8th” festival. Deputy Party Secretary and trade union chairman Yang Hongbin sat together with the women workers committee members and the representatives of women workers from various positions of the company to talk about the production, safety, development matters of the company and livelihood of the employees. Everyone speak their minds frees in the harmonious and warm atmosphere at the meeting.

The representatives proposed many pertinent and cogent comments and suggestions focusing around topics such as participation of the women workers in the annual activities of staff quality, the role of women workers in the production and management and stable development of the company, the work of the women workers organization at various levels, and how to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of women workers, etc.

Through organizing the “March 8th” series of celebration activities, the employees exchanged feelings, improved mutual understanding and friendship, and relaxed in the body and mind. The activities further inspired the female workers to continue exerting the spirit of “self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance, and self-renewal”, to make new contributions for a new round of construction and development of the company with refreshed metal status.
