EM Asia & Pacific Region Refining Director Gary W. Wilson and Chemical Director Matthew J. Aquiar Visited FREP


On March 11, 2013, ExxonMobil Asia & Pacific Region Refining Director Gary W. Wilson and Chemical Director Matthew J. Aquiar Visited FREP. Chairman and President Lu Dong, Vice President Abdullah H. Al Sebail and Vice President Brian Ablett met cordially with Mr. Wilson and Mr. Aquiar. The two parties held talks in a friendly atmosphere.

First of all, on behalf of the Office of the President, President Lu Dong welcomed Mr. Wilson and Mr. Aquiar visit to the joint venture. He said that FREP has improved HSE performance continuously and highlighted the KFAs and priorities in line with the BOD decisions, advanced Ethylene De-bottleneck Project and turnaround and initiated the project financing in a comprehensive manner. He also exchanged his opinion with the guests on the local oil products mechanism.

Mr. Wilson and Mr. Aquiar fully affirmed FREP performance in 2012 and appreciated OOP’s consistent efforts. They expected FREP to improve HSE performance continuously and improve energy efficiency through self help in gross margin, operation cost and reliability etc. They also expected the shareholders to further strengthen cooperation and promote the continuous improvement of the Joint Venture in performance and profit etc.

Mr. Wilson and Mr. Aquiar reviewed FREP’s performance, priorities in 2013, comprehensive events and updates of EO business plans. They also had an in-depth communication and exchange in the financial updates and visited the production units with great enthusiasm.
