All the flowers bloom during the warmth of the spring. On the afternoon of March 7, the party committee of the company held the 2013 working conference in Furui Hotel. The meeting was presided over by Lu Dong, member of the party committee, chairman and president of the company and participated by representatives from various branches totaling more than 200 people.

Secretary of the Party Committee Chen Xiaobo presented a working report on behalf of the party committee entitled put efforts to enhance the scientific level of party-building work and provide a strong guarantee for the construction of a modern and harmonious FREP. The report includes a brief review of the work of the party committee in 2012 from five aspects and proposes the overall requirements for the work of the party committee in 2013, which are: thoroughly implement the spirit of the 18th national conference of the Party, follow the guidance of the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, focus on central task of enhancing management and promoting the development, actively explore the “five roles”, realize the effective approach of “six transformations”, continuously improve the scientific level of party-building work, tackle tough difficulties by coherent efforts up and down, and welcome the successful convening of the party representatives meeting of the company with excellent performance.

Yang Hongbin, secretary of the discipline sector of the company made a report on behalf of disciple sector titled make perfect the corruption punishing and preventing system and strive to build a clean business.

A total of five primary level party organizations including the aromatic hydrocarbon team, Fuels-2 BT, etc. exchanged experiences and practices during the conference in respects of party building, ideological and political work, team building, education of Party members, and labor union matters.

Chairman and President Lu Dong delivered a concluding speech and proposed four requirements on implementing the spirit of the meeting. First, put efforts to implementing the spirit of the meeting, second, put efforts to allocate the responsibilities, third, put efforts on emphasizing the actual effectiveness, and fourth, put efforts on improving the working style.

No podium was set up and no flowers were displayed at the meeting room, but only a speaker’s seat. The company party committee, the company leaders sat at the audience’s seats just like the other representatives. The rich content, compact timing, and refined presentation highlighted the company’s new atmosphere to transform the writing style and meeting style and to practice thrift.
