On the morning of May 30, around the International Children’s Day, Lu Dong, Abdullah H. Al Sebail, and Brian Ablett, members of the company’s Office of President, visited the Quangang No.2 Experimental School and Fuyuan Kindergarten, offering the best wishes and gifts to the children.

In the Quangang No.2 Experimental School, the four leaders talked cordially with the teachers and pupils, asking for information about their facilities, faculties, scales, characteristics, and management. They spoke highly of the school’s development. They said, “We hope you carry through the pupil-oriented education to care pupils more, and fully mobilize the teachers’ initiative to improve the education quality, thus promoting the pupils’ overall development in morality, intelligence, physical training, and arts.”

 “Safety is under your feet and life is in your hands”. The Chinese and English safety sign in the stairs was highly praised by the four leaders. The Quangang No.2 Experimental School adheres to the characteristic education. In order to give full play to the pupils’ operational and organizational abilities, each class in the school held a distinctive activity for “Children’s Day”, like the painting competition, handcraft show, or other creative celebrations.

In the Fuyuan Kindergarten, Lu Dong and other three leaders saw the handcrafts made by the kindergarten pupils with great interest, and learnt the information of the kindergarten from its leaders. Lu Dong said, “I hope the kindergarten can sum up the experience and take measures to improve the education quality and better satisfy the children’s parents including the staff of Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP).”

   Abdullah H. Al Sebail and Brian Ablett, vice presidents of the company, even talked with the pupils both in Chinese and English in spirits.

It’s learnt that, the company has donated RMB 50,000 to the Quangang No.2 Experimental School and RBM 30,000 to the Fuyuan Kindergarten for improvement of their teaching facilities. This year is the 6^th anniversary of FREP’s official establishment. The company has promoted the local economic and social development, and always actively participated in, with strong social responsibility, the charity and public-welfare programs, thus gaining wide praise from the society.
