On July, 12, Lu Dong, Chairman and President of the Company, Chen Xiaobo, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union, led the staff of the Department of Party Work to visit the staff working at the production units areas of APS/VPS , HCU, ethylene complex, aromatic complex, polyethylene and polypropylene and the Utilities, Offsites , maintenance and repair units, inspection center and PMG BT. To guarantee the health of employees at the production line and the construction site of the ethylene debottleneck project in the intense heat of summer, company leaders specially prepared heatstroke prevention materials

As soon as they reached a place, the Company leaders would shake hands with employees courteously and repeatedly advise everyone to look after their health and pay attention to self-adjusting to prevent from heatstroke at high temperature while doing a good job. They required each unit to take sufficient measures to avoid heatstroke at the high temperature season, and always pay close attention to production safety. They said that with a high awareness of safety, each unit should focus on site safety control to realize a safe and well-organized production.

The company leaders’ visit despite of high temperature brought the staff at the production line a refreshing chill in the air and encouraged them to keep up high morale.
