Turn Employee’s Golden Ideas into Golden Keys to Development
On the evening of July 11, 2013, the award ceremony of 1st Innovation Day Activity Edison Cup of FREP was held at Congwu Xishawan Holiday Hotel. Chairman and President Lu Dong, Vice President Brian Ablett, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Labor Union Yang Hongbin and Operation General Manager Liu Yanchang presented at the ceremony, and awarded cups and certificates to the winners of the 1st Innovation Day Activity. They expressed their hopes that the employees would put forward more “golden ideas” and make positive contributions to promote the scientific development of the company.
President Lu Dong said that the Innovation Day Activity was a good carrier and effective platform for making suggestions around the five KFAs of the company. The OOP of the company attached great importance to the Innovation Day Activity and the reasonable suggestions of employees had become an important reference for the scientific and democratic decision-making by the OOP. Lu Dong emphasized that attentions should be paid to change the “golden ideas” of employees into “golden key” to promote the scientific development of the company. The awarding of “golden ideas” aimed at arousing the enthusiasm of employees to actively make suggestions on the scientific development of the company to a greatest extent, thus introducing the reasonable suggestions of the employees into decision-making of OOP and management. The “golden ideas”, after being optimized by the relevant department, would be submitted to the relevant department of the management for researches, thus changing them into practical measures to “build FREP wonderful home”.
Leaders including Lu Dong, Brian Ablett, Yang Hongbin and Liu Yanchang granted the cups and certificates to the winners of first prize, second prize and third prize as well as Best Popularity Award.
Wu Liangjiang, the winner of first prize said at the prize speech: “This prize is a kind of spur and encourage for me, which make me more confident in energy saving and cost reduction. In the future, I will make unremitting efforts to positively promote the development of thermal insulation and rectification project, improve the thermal insulation effect of equipment and interconnecting pipelines, reduce heat loss and the energy cost of the company by combining with the actual situation of production site.”
In half a year since the Innovation Day Activity was launched at the beginning of the year, employees made suggestions around the five KFAs of the company and a harmonious and active FREP platform has been established. With the active participation of employees, there were more than 1,000 employees putting forward 750 ideas during Innovation Day Activity. After more than 1,000 people visited the exhibition and voted the winners, voting by employees, and judging by experts, the final winners and winning ideas finally were generated. (Staff Reporter)
