On the afternoon of Nov. 8, Party Committee of the Company held Party’s Mass Line Education & Practice Activity Work Promotion Conference to summarize the status of the activity implementation in the past stage and arrange the relevant work of the next stage in the Science and Technology Hall. The conference required that the activity and the work of overhaul and revamp should be combined properly in the fully inspired spirit status and stable and steady work style; the effect of “attention to both sides, ignoring neither side and promoting both sides” and the excellent work style created by the activity of education and practice shall be introduced into the work of overhaul and revamp so as to check the effect of the activity of education and practice with the satisfying result of overhaul and revamp.

The Conference was held by Chen Xiaobo, Party Secretary of the Company and Team Leader of Education and Practice Activity Leading Team; work arrangement was addressed by Yang Hongbin, Deputy Party Secretary of the Company, Secretary of Commission for Discipline Inspection, Labor Union Chairman and Director of Education and Practice Activity Leading Team Office.

Since the Company carried out the education and practice activity, under the direct leadership of the Party Committee of the Company and effective direction by the sixth Supervision and Instruction Team of Sinopec, the thoughts and consciousness of the grass-root Party organization teams and Party member group have been furthered gradually, the work strength has been enforced, the combination with central work has become closer, the implementation of the activity has been getting growingly profound and a satisfying effect has been achieved. All these are owed to (1) the modeling and leading effect of the leaders; (2) the rich contents of study and education and the wide variety of carriers; (3) the suggestions collected from various channels; (4) the achievements made through immediate action and correction and; (5) the close combination with central work.

In addition, the Conference also pointed out that some issues still existed in the implementation of the activity, including: insufficient collection of suggestions, declined pressure transmission, unbalanced implementation of activity, low work quality, insufficiently finding and interpreting problems and that the immediate action and correction needs reinforcing further. Effective measures must be taken to solve the problems carefully.

The Conference bulletined the condition of the Party Committee of the Company leading to preparing democracy life conference.

The Conference required that, with the constant furthering the education and practice activity, the standards of central government and the Company would be increasingly specific and the requirements would be increasingly strict. The work of the next stage is to hold Leading Personnel Special Democracy Life Conference and Party Member Special Organization Life Conference and achieve six “Musts”, that is, consciousness must reach the height, problem finding and interpretation must focus on essence, criticism must be sharp, the check materials must reflect the authors, implementation of rectification must be ahead of the schedule and other preparations must be sufficient.
