On November 15, deputy director of NDRC Hu Zucai lead a team come to FREP to do investigation. Fujian Province vice-governor Zheng Xiaosong, Quanzhou City Mayor Zheng Xincong and FREP chairman and president Lu Dong accompanies him for investigation.

The investigation team listened to the production operation, SCDP project and the turnaround and revamp situation report of FREP from president Lu Dong, and implemented site observation in the company’s exhibition hall, central control room in the new plant area, production unit area, etc., to get to know petrochemical industry transformation and updating situation.

The investigation team also got to know the revamp situation of energy saving and emission reduction technology of FREP, and sufficiently affirmed that the company actively respond to the national energy saving and emission reduction policy, and effectively reduce gas pollution emission. The deputy director Hu Zucai pointed that FREP adopts advanced technology and obtained relatively good environmental protection index, and does a lot of work in the aspect of energy saving and emission reduction, there are a lot of innovative methods and measures which are worth learning, he hopes FREP will make persistent efforts, continue to strengthen establishment and utilization of environmental protective facilities, and create better economic benefit and social benefit.

The president Lu Dong express that FREP has shared national and local economic flourishing result for the past few years, and spares no effort to feedback region and society, develops the company to be key backbone enterprise and big tax-payer in Fujian petrochemical engineering industry, and also an indispensible important part of Quanzhou City to implement project to drive strategy. Under current rigorous market trend, he hopes all the relevant departments can fully give full play to the policy orientation function, focus on supporting training enterprises, make full use of all the opportunities and policy supports of country supporting Economic Zone on the Western Coast of Taiwan Straits construction, further enlarge finance and tax supporting for enterprise, help enterprise to shore up confidence, pull through difficulties, operate steadily, expand market, improve profitability level and development effect, strengthen sustainable development capacity of enterprise, and promote expansion and optimization of pillar industry.
