When TA/revamp was at the critical stage of closure, on Nov. 29, Mr. Chen Xiaobo, secretary of FREP’s party committee, Mr. Yang Hongbin, deputy secretary of party committee, secretary of discipline inspection commission & chairman of the labor union, led the personnel of Office of Party Committee and Trade Union to deeply visit site of production unit to visit and console employees in the first line involved in TA/revamp, give them easements like cookies and drinks, and deliver the greetings and care sent by FREP’s party committee & labor union to each employee, which inspire the employees significantly.

The team led by Mr. Chen Xiaobo, secretary of party committee, visited site of aromatics unit at first, shook hands with the employees one by one in a kind manner, sent easements to them, and expressed sincere thanks to everyone for their hard work as the representative of FREP’s party committee & labor union! Then, the team led by Mr. Chen Xiaobo, secretary of party committee, visited site of IGCC unit, had a cordial talk with the employees, and asked details of startup of utility units.

The sympathy team also visited Olefin BT without a stop, observed construction of the ethylene unit, and knew the construction quality and progress. Mr. Chen Xiaobo, secretary of party committee, said that, when TA/revamp is approaching to closure, everyone should continue to exert the spirit, i.e., be very hard working, high ability of fighting and make much devotion, complete all work for startup & production of the unit, and win the tough fight of TA/revamp in a practical manner. He asked all personnel involved in the fight that, when the TA/revamp is close to end, they should maintain high sensitivity, and couldn’t miss safety to complete TA/revamp and SCDP construction with “safety, quality, efficiency and on schedule”.

The sympathy team also deeply visited Fuels-1 BT, Fuels-2 BT, Olefin BT, Terminal BT and other BTs, expressed sympathy to the employees in the first line sticking to the posts, asked details of TA/revamp, production preparation and other conditions when they visited site, and expressed greetings by FREP’s party committee and labor union.

Employees taking part in TA/revamp expressed sincere thanks to FREP, and expressed that they must work hard and complete their own work to ensure that units after TA/revamp for startup & production can be in smooth and steady operation to make contribution to FREP’s new round of development. （Xiao Wanyuan）
