On November 11, with the company of Jazan Refinery, general manager Suleman A. Al Bargan, the Saudi Aramco Company vice president Omar S. Bazuhair came to visit FREP. The company’s chairman and president Lu Dong, vice presidents Abdullah H Al Sebail and Charles Brian Albett cordially meet Omar S. Bazuhair, and implemented friendly meeting.

The president Lu Dong welcomed Omar S. Bazuhair first for visiting the joint venture, and thanked the support and help from Saudi Aramco Company to the development of FREP. He introduced FREP production and operation situation to the visitors briefly, and reported SCDP, the turnaround and revamp situation. He said the visit of Omar S. Bazuhair is the first time that FREP present utilities IGCC island. He expresses that currently Saudi Aramco Company is implementing IGCC unit construction, is necessary, FREP will give full support and help.

Omar S. Bazuhair expressed that he was so glad to visit FREP, seeing the joint venture construction development enters good development route, especially seeing the onsite situation of the turnaround and revamp, as a shareholder, the Saudi Aramco Company is full of confidence for FREP, and will fully support development of joint venture. He said, FREP has good experience in the construction and operation of IGCC unit, and he will invite relevant technical personnel to come to Saudi Aramco Company to communicate experience.

The general manager of the company’s Technical and Planning Department Saleh Yahya Al Zaid and general manager in the Supply and Distribution Department Nouraddin A. Yousuf participated in the meeting.
