On December 26, CPC FPCL Party Committee convened a notification meeting of the Democratic Life Conference on the CPC Mass Line Education Practices, and the meeting was chaired by Chen Xiaobo, Secretary of CPC FPCL Party Committee and Head of the Education Practices Leadership Team. On behalf of the Party Committee Leadership Team, Lu Dong, member of CPC FPCL Party Committee, Chairman and President of FREP/FPCL, and Head of the Education Practices Leadership Team, made a report on the Democratic Life Conference.

The meeting was attended by members of CPC FPCL Party Committee (including Yang Hongbin, Liu Yanchang, Hu Hongye, Chen Feishan), Consultant Han Baolin, Chief Accountant Li Siyang, secretaries of the grassroots party general branch and branch, chairman of the Trade Union, secretary of the youth league general branch, and members of FPCL Education Practices Office and Supervision Team.

The meeting gave an account of the Party Leadership Group Democratic Life Conference’s preparatory work.

Also, the meeting made public the implementation of the criticisms and self-criticisms. At the Democratic Life Conference that took place on December 17, Chairman of FREP/FPCL Lu Dong, on behalf of the CPC FPCL Party Committee, made a comparative inspection report on the leadership team. Chairman Lu seriously stressed the CPC FPCL Party Committee’s 10 shortcomings in terms of elimination of “Four Forms of Decadence”, elaborated the sources for the “Four Forms of Decadence” from four aspects, and introduced the rectification direction and main actions from five points. With strong sense of responsibility to the CPC, FPCL and comrades, all members of the CPC FPCL Party Committee opened up their minds, expressed freely their opinions, and made self-inspection reports one by one while focusing on the theme and “Four Forms of Decadence”. In addition to serious and earnest reporting, all members analyzed themselves in a deep and thorough way.

In the wake of the speeches, other party committee members also conducted self-criticisms without reservation. Besides, CPC FPCL Party Committee summed up their shortcomings in safety development philosophy and work safety management from the “November 22 Major Accident”, and in-depth reflection and analysis was further made.

The meeting also notified Sinopec 6^th Supervision Team’s evaluations and requirements on FPCL Party Leadership Group’s Democratic Life Conference and arranged the follow-up improvement actions.
