Qi GuoSheng, SEI Deputy General Manager, visited FREP on the morning of 27^th Dec. Lu Dong, FREP Chairman and President, met with the delegation led by Qi GuoSheng in the reception room of Quanzhou Office Building. The two parties exchanged comments on further strengthening cooperation.

President Lu Dong briefed on the overview of facility running after FREP Steam Cracker Debottlenecking Project and Turnaround/Revamp. As he remarked, SEI has strong technical power with technologies of its own characteristics for all its refining categories and its major petrochemical categories. FREP received the biggest help and support from SEI in the course of development, in particular, SEI played a critical role in Fujian Integrated Refining and Ethylene Project, Steam Cracker Debottlenecking Project and Turnaround/Revamp. He thanked SEI on behalf of FREP OOP.

Chairman Lu Dong said that SEI is an enterprise of great strength, good reputation and reliable technology and quality. At present, FREP is in a critical period for it is on the way of a new round of rapid development. So he hoped the two parties would cooperate further, promote win-win situation and nurture a better environment for development, so as to offer strong support and guarantee for FREP to devote to be a leading-edge integrated refining and petrochemical enterprise in Asia.

Qi GuoSheng shared that he managed to see in person Steam Cracker Debottlenecking Project and Turnaround/Revamp work being carried out in full swing during this visit. In the meantime, the visit was also a good opportunity to learn the advanced managerial expertise brought in FREP both from China and overseas shareholders. SEI could not have developed and grown without great support given by companies like FREP. With Sinopec restructuring of petrochemical engineering construction, specialized companies faced formidable challenges. He hoped FREP would continue to care and support the development of SEI. In this way, the two parties could make joint contributions to building a world top-notch petrochemical in China.

The two parties also exchanged comments on FREP EO/EG Unit construction.
