FREP 10th New Year Long-Distance Race Held


In the New Year sun, we run with robust steps towards Year 2014 of hope.

Over 1300 employees from member companies of “Large FREP” including FPCL, FREP, Linde-FPCL Gas, Fujian Rubber, Fuyuan and Ruisheng participated in FREP 10th New Year Long-Distance Race on the morning of 8th Jan., ushering in the New Year by happy running.

At 9:30 a.m., with the starting gun, leaders from FPCL, FREP including Mr. Lu Dong, Mr. Chen XiaoBo, Mr. Yang HongBin, Mr. Liu YanChang, Mr. Hu HongYe, Madam Li SiYang and so forth kicked off the New Year Long-Distance Race by running from the stadium at the utmost front line. 29 delegations composed of employees from FPCL, FREP, Fuyuan, Ruisheng, etc. set out in succession, from the stadium to Xiangyu Road of Quangang.

During the 8KM journey, people lined up, sweating and enjoying the passion for the New Year. Bright garment, neat team and smiling faces comprised a vigorous and powerful picture scroll against the cold wind.

The sunshine shed light on our faces. Forehead sweat sparkled and glittered in the sun. Half an hour passed and racers breasted the yarn one after another. Wiping off the sweat, we put on a smile and made a common wish for the New Year: I run, I am healthy, I am happy. Wish good luck and every success in the Year of Horse!

Finally, delegations from FREP HSE, PRO, FPCL office, T&P, Linde-FPCL Gas, Fujian Rubber, Offsite BT and MEC won the first eight group prizes. Sportsmanship Award and Organization Award were also presented.

FREP has held New Year Long-Distance Race for 10 consecutive years. It aims at enhancing corporate civilization construction, enriching employees’ spiritual and cultural life, and improving the health conditions of the mass. Since this initiative rolled out, nationwide fitness concept became all the rage among our employees. Moreover, it further stimulated the sense of group honor of staff, developed team spirit, strengthened corporate cohesion and unity, and effectively facilitated the sustainable, effective, healthy and harmonious development of the Company.
