FREP Trade Union held Turnaround/Revamp “Six Competitions and One Assurance” Labor Competition Award Conference on the afternoon of 15^th Jan. Mr. Lu Dong, FREP Chairman and President, Mr. Yang HongBin, FREP Deputy Party Secretary, Discipline Inspection Secretary and Trade Union Chairman, and Mr. Liu YanChang, Operation General Manager, were present at the conference. Competition Steering Committee Team Lead, Deputy Team Lead and functional team leads, deputy team leads, FREP participating team managers, PCL, TCL, Trade Union Chairman, participating functions’ leaders, and Project Manager were also attended the meeting. It was chaired by President Mr. Lu Dong.

Mr. Yang HongBin, Deputy Party Secretary, summarized the “Six Competitions and One Assurance” Labor Competition. He fully recognized the process and the achievements of this labor competition, and deployed Trade Union labor competition activities for the upcoming New Year. He said, we shall continue to persist in the policy of Safety First and strive to better HSE performance; continue to hold labor competitions in multiple forms and ensure fulfillment of production and business tasks; continue to provide in-depth education of trend and tasks, and unite people and build up the momentum for achievement of the annual target assignments.

GM Mr. Liu YanChang read out the decision on honoring the excellent teams for Turnaround/Revamp “Six Competitions and One Assurance” Labor Competition. FREP Offsite BT and Fujian Provincial Industrial Equipment Installation Company won the “First Prize” honor of the labor competition; 6 teams from FREP, including Utilities BT, won the “Second Prize” honor; FREP Aromatic BT won the “Third Prize” honor; 2 teams including FREP Fuels-2 BT of Process Dept. were granted with the honor of “Cooperation Prize”; 4 teams including Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company were granted with the honor of “Organization Prize”.

FREP Management Mr. Lu Dong, Mr. Yang HongBin and Mr. Liu YanChang presented trophies and souvenirs to winner teams. 

The conference was concluded by the wrap-up speech delivered by President Mr. Lu Dong. He pointed out that Y2013 Turnaround/Revamp overall event reflected the team spirit of “One Team, One Goal”, where FREP employees and participating teams worked together to fight against difficulties in a selfless way and achieved the set target of “safety, quality, efficiency and timely” successfully, which was highly recognized by both Chinese and foreign shareholders. He emphasized that Y2014 is a crucial year for us to achieve the set goal of building a leading-edge integrated refining and petrochemical company in Asia during the “Twelfth Five Years” as it connects past and the future. It’s even more a significant year for us to complete and level out the advantage of SCDP, to improve overall benefit, to fundamentally change the business situation and to lay a solid foundation. We shall carry forward the dedication spirit that was shown during Turnaround/Revamp, with which, we were able to unite together to tide over difficulties and contribute selflessly. We shall take on the stance of Ownership, commit to the operation, business and efficiency improvement and make contributions to the fulfillment of 2014 target tasks.

At the afternoon of that day, FREP Trade Union held an enlarged meeting. At the meeting, 2013 Trade Union work was reviewed and 2014 Trade Union work was deployed. FREP Trade Union also commended excellent groups and individuals at the meeting.
