Farewell Party for Mr. Abdullah H. AL Sebail and Mr. Zhao LiPing was held in FREP Exhibition Hall on the afternoon of 9^th Jan. FREP Management including Mr. Lu Dong, Mr. Brian Ablett, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Yang HongBin, Mr. Liu YanChang and Mr. Hu HongYe were present at the party. Departmental GMs and DGMs and relevant people also took part in the party.

Mr. Lu Dong, FREP Chairman and President delivered a speech, saying we gather together here today to bid farewell to Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail and Mr. Zhao LiPing.I share all of your feeling and find it difficult to tear apart at this very moment. I am happy for Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail and Mr. Zhao LiPing for their new work and life. I am more thankful for their contributions to FREP.

President Lu Dong, in great happiness, recalled the scenes when Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail and Mr. Zhao LiPing were working in FREP. He said, Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail and Mr. Zhao LiPing joined FREP at a hardest time of construction and development and they built deep and extensive friendship with people. Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail was engaged as early as in the joint venture negotiation, all the way through stages when the joint venture was founded, constructed and developed. His kindness, generosity and humor impressed us a lot. He managed to tackle difficulties during joint venture cooperation by wisdom and insight, which further united Chinese and foreign shareholders and facilitated FREP to forge towards the goal of building a leading-edge integrated refining and petrochemical company in Asia. Mr. Zhao LiPing led by example, by his prudence and down-to-earth work style that FREP will never forget. May Mr. Zhao LiPing enjoy a happy new life! Finally, he hoped Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail and Mr. Zhao LiPing would continue to care and support FREP development and come back at any convenience. The door of FREP always remains open for you!

Mr. Brian Ablett, FREP Vice President, shared that Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail experienced and witnessed the growth of FREP in person and extended strong support and help to the construction and development of the joint venture. Since I joined FREP, we have been enjoying working together; in particular, Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail made prominent contributions in communication and coordination with the government, community and social charity activities. He worked here for twelve years and gave a lot to FREP. Although he’s leaving FREP, we will never forget him no matter where the next station is. He remains a friend of FREP forever. He always provides help and support to the joint venture. Thanks to him for his contributions.

When talking about how Mr. Zhao LiPing impressed him, VP Brian Ablett said, I have worked in considerable countries, among all the colleagues, Mr. Zhao LiPing impressed most. He is loyal to the work and detail-oriented, especially, his work note is so neat that it can be a work of art and precious treasure to the company. Mr. Zhao LiPing experienced the revolution and development of the Company from a refinery to an integrated refining and petrochemical company. He is a role model for FREP staff.

About to leave FREP where he had worked for many years, Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail said with emotion that every day I spent here working is enjoyable. In the future, I will take opportunities and care about the development of FREP. It is not easy to push the development of a joint venture with shareholders from three countries and four parties. Fortunately, with the strong leadership of President Mr. Lu Dong and an excellent staff team, we united together and worked hard towards the goal of building a leading-edge integrated refining and petrochemical company in Asia. In this way, FREP enjoys a more promising prospect. Thanks to FREP colleagues. You have left me a beautiful memory. Wherever I go, I will carry the mark of FREP. At that time, we will take pride in being a member of FREP. I will value the friendship and the happiness of working together.

Mr. Zhao LiPing said, I am going to close my work and learning in FREP. Thanks to the management and colleagues who worked together and studied together with me. It was your hard work that made for the new performance of FREP. It is your hard work that enabled FREP to make new strides. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your efforts and hard work, and thank you for your support to my work and study.

Other company leads including Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Yang HongBin, Mr. Liu YanChang and Mr. Hu HongYe and departmental leads also addressed the party.

It was also announced in the party that Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, S&D GM, would take over Mr. Abdullah H.Al Sebail when he left and act as FREP Vice President.
