FREP Leadership Project Training was Started
On the morning of Apr. 4, FREP leadership project training was started at conference room of engineer building.
The participants include FREP leaders: Lu Dong, Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Parut Chatikavanij, Yang Hongbin, as well as General Managers, Deputy General Managers from all functional departments, and the relevant responsible person from PMG.
Present Lu Dong made a mobilization speech in the kick off training class. He said he was so glad to participate in leadership training together with you. It was necessary to organize leadership training when the company confirmed “management and profit improvement” as the target for this year. Why did we have to emphasize the factor of leadership, because we pursuit effective management all the time, we should combine teams together to achieve work target. Everyone here had his own work team. How to carry out function of plan, organization, instruction, coordination and control during the work in time, how to choose most effective communication way to motivate subordinates, how to better master skills to deal with behavior problem of employees and affect individual or team’s actual work performance and finally achieve high performance and high degree of satisfaction, so as to establish a good relationship between leaders and individuals. We were always looking for better answers. At present, when all staff implemented spirit of FREP management work conference with full enthusiasm and combativeness, and struggle to finish the annual work target, we invited Mr. Huang Weidong, who enjoyed high reputation in domestic industrial and commercial circles, to provide leadership project training for us. Mr. Huang weidong previously provided cross-cultural management and global leadership service for many multinational and Chinese enterprises, he was an expert in management practice and enterprise management consultation activities. I believed this training would bring some new theories and methods for us, and also inspired the management mindset in the future.
The objective of FREP leadership project training is to cultivate internationalized leaders of FREP under Chinese environment, and build all levels leadership with the same target, that is the vision of FREP -- building a leading integrated refining & petrochemical company in Asia, and confirm the actions and behaviors which need to be taken by leaders of FREP, and study the leading skill which can support these actions and behaviors.
It is said that leadership project is one of the most important action plan of company in 2014. FREP leadership project involves the shift lead and above, the number of students participating in that training is up to 300. The classroom training will be divided into five topics modules: module 1 – introduce FREP leadership, module 2 - create engagement, module 3 – develop talent, modules 4 – achieve excellence in performance and module 5 – set out of leadership. One module would be lectured and trained monthly.
