For a row of days the frontline employees are exposed to scorching sun and burning heat, which touches the heart of the company management.

In the brazing sun on July 28^th, the Company Chairman and President Lu Dong, CCP Secretary Chen Xiaobo, Deputy CCP Secretary & Secretary of Discipline Commission & Labor Union Chairman Yang Hongbin together with all personnel of CCP Office paid visits to BT Fuels 1, BT Fuels 2, BT Aromatics, BT Olefins, BT Poly-olefins, BT EO/EG, BT Utilities, BT Offsite, BT Terminals, HSE Fire-fighting Brigade, Mechanical Department, Technical & Planning Department and Project Management Group with condolence gifts for heat stroke prevention presented to employees fighting bravely in the front line and EO/EG construction site, to ensure them go through the sunburned days in a safe manner.

With friendly handshakes wherever they visited, the company management repeatedly advised employees to pay attention to health and self regulation to prevent heat stroke at high temperature while doing well in the job. The company management required all business functions to realistically manage heat stroke prevention in the high temperature season always putting first priority to safe production especially when the company has achieved a marked result in the year of management and profitability improvement. The profit turnaround in May and June has boosted our confidence to win the tough fight for management and profitability improvement. However, the task remains a challenge in the mid of the year. We need to be vigilant for safe production every minute just like a taut string, with efforts made in the field for safe and orderly production to ensure completion of the annual target.

The condolence at high temperatures greatly refreshed and motivated the employees who were fighting in the front line. They all expressed that they would stick to their roles and do their best to ensure units in safe and steady operation for contributing to the company management and profitability improvement.
