On the morning of January 20, the kick-off meeting of the company’s “100-Day Safe and No Incident” special action was held in Quangang and Quanzhou by video link.

President Joost Emmen, Vice President Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Vice President Lin Xu and Vice President Zhao Tianxing attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Management of functional departments and business teams of the company and relevant personnel attended the meeting.

Joost Emmen commented that the purpose of the action is to avoid occurrence of incidents, all departments of the company should conscientiously perform their duties, detail measures, carry out inspection, and implement the requirements of the action to the letter, ensure safe operation of the company, and achieve the profit target on this basis.

Nouraddin A. Yousuf commented that all incidents are preventable, and we could do better if we make joint efforts, thoroughly identify potential hazards and actively carry out the special action.

Lin Xu emphasized that the action should not only identify potential hazards, but also check process and operation records, especially key controls such as alarms and interlocks, so as to leave no blind side; combined with OIMS and RS of the company, the effectiveness of the system should be improved through field inspection.

Zhao Tianxing required that we should enhance the sense of responsibility, break down the task, and take immediate actions during the special action, and deeply integrate with OIMS and RS to understand the implementation of the systems; the problems identified should be reported quickly and rectified timely to remove the potential hazards, and ensure safety with no incident happen.

HSE Department responsible people introduce the special action in three aspects, i.e. organizational structure, action contents and work requirements.

It was shared that the “100-Day Safe and No Incident” special action mainly includes 5 aspects, i.e. post safety responsibility self-inspection, process and technology safety management, equipment safety management, emergency handling capability and construction operation safety management, with the main safety responsibility clearly defined and implemented by item and by department, thus to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of the action.
